  when i was a firm believer that the wts was god's chosen organization, i didn't really research too much.

  never gave much thought to other opinions.

  if the insight book said so, than it was factual.

  Going through all of the above right now. I honestly think I'm going crazy sometimes but it sounds like we all go through similar things. I'm having a hard time trusting anything written or said.

  Miseryloveselders: I don't know how you do it! The last meeting I went to was the memorial and I just wanted to scream, grab the plate of crackers and down it with the wine. It was such an eerie feeling - like being in zombie land.

  So nice to see everyone's comments - I learn a lot. Thanks.

  There are too many lies coming from Bethel. They're very deceitful over there. I'm not going to believe them again.

  Of course many of us who write are doing so at all hours so grammar and spelling tends to go out the window! That's my excuse

  Now versus 7 Years Ago.....

  we have been out of the organization since 1-1-2004 - at least that is the way we mark it to remember.

  we began to read ray's books in late fall/early winter of 2003 - a thousand pages later and a few weeks - viola - we were out to never return.. i was contemplating just how significantly i have personally changed in that period of time - not the stages, though there have been many stages.

  but the raw contrast of my opinions, moral stance, and view of the world is amazing.

  New light states that ones are to obey even if they don't understand. Wait on Jehovah.

  Mad Sweeney: I didn't realize there were ones in the writing dept that are of the conscious class. How many do you figure? I wonder how their writing gets past the GB. That's great to know - I hope they keep it up and awaken others through their own literature.

  11 minutes was the longest one I've heard. The assembly was already 30 minutes overtime. I was fuming and so were many others. Totally unnecessary. It summed up the ENTIRE three days! I should have just come for the prayer and saved the three days.
