If anyone says "Who is your presiding overseer?" Those are really old words now. Or asks, who is your district overseer? They might not know that there are no longer any district overseers.
This is really interesting LoisLane. I never understood why words or expressions were changed and then often changed back again. I wonder if this is why Fred Franz changed the term for field service back in the early 70s? We had always said that we were "on the ministry" and then suddenly we had to say that we were "out in service". This lasted a few years, then it was back to using the word "ministry" again. It seemed such a lot of fuss over the use of a word.
