I will say though that I have personal peeves with Their, They're, There. As well as any other lack of use of the apostrophe or other punctuation. Sometimes you can get away with it, but if you're trying to come across seriously, use proper spelling, grammer and punctuation!

I don't know what do
by XPeterX inlast saturday night my older sister,24 years old,not a jw,went to a party.to make a long story short she almost got raped by a guy who found the chance to do so (he has been accused of rapes in the past too).then my sister called 3 of her neo-nazi friends after the party to attack him.so they took knives,clubs,and crowbars and went at his house.he managed to escape and didn't apologise for anything.now they are planning to kidnap him,drive him in a deserted place and beat him really bad and make him regret it.what should i do now after all this?i can't sleep at nights..

You can do 3 things:
1) Call the cops.
2) Call your friend and join in the melee.
3) Do nothing.
I recommend talking to your friend and getting her to call the cops, that gets her to do the right thing without doing something criminal in return.

Has anyone heard of the elders being called independent agents. Spoke to a brother in the Legal department and he called them that.
by life is to short injust wondering if anyone has ever heard of elders being referred to as independent agents before.
i called the legal department and spoke to an older brother about the child molesters in my hall about a month ago.
he did not want to speak to me because i am just a stupid sister but he did finally agree and that was one point he made.

That's exactly why they are called that. The society uses it to cover their ass legally. An elder told me that he was instructed to never go beyond the instructions given to them by the society, if they do and a legal case is made, their on their own. Nice huh?

All about Shelby
by watersprout ini wanted to post this thread about shelby.. she get's a lot of grief by what she posts on this site, so i thought i would start a post on how shelby has helped ones that have left the borg.. i can't begin to explain how shelby has helped me, i felt like i was in a hole and she gave me answers to the many questions i had.
no matter how many emails i bombarded her with, she always took the time to answer.
yes there has been times when i haven't liked what she posted, but i asked christ to help me understand and he did...... shelby helped me to open my mind and come to the realisation that the borg can no longer stop me from becoming the beautiful person i was destined to become.. i think i speak for many when i say thank you shelby!!!!.

I'm sure the WBTS is hosting their own web servers. They probably have a few fiber lines into it as well. They have to pay a premium for these lines so the "donate" towards the download is stated.

I agree it will be a cost savings, but there still needs to be cash coming in. My understanding is the cash coming in wasn't or isn't fully covering the costs hence the need for this cut back. Maybe sending home a bunch of bethelites, closing some branches, consolidating KH's congregations will work for a time...
Looking at the trend from the change to donation arrangement, having less income, to these changes through downloading more material, will lead to less income, which will lead to some other major cut-back.
Maybe the WBTS got it right when they proclaim that the end is near... near for them! muahahahahaaaaa
