i recently called the service department about this.

first off, what i read in another post is correct.

the person you talk with will not give you their name.. i asked the question and the brother responds by saying that yes, they get that question all the time.. then he proceeds to tell me that i need to write in to the society with my question and they will give me plenty of information to back up their standing on it.. i told him that i searched the wl cdrom and found nothing, not even under questions from readers.

the speed of that process will not allow his blood cells time to regenerate, meaning he will require transfusions so that the chemotherapy can continue unabated.. in a statement read to the court, the boy said transfusions carried spiritual consequences.. "the doctors have told me i might die and i don't want to - but i don't want blood," he said.. "the blood will change me... when you take blood, you are taking someone else's life.. "i really don't want this and my heart is ripping apart.".

This statement just shows the ignorance. Yet the WTS, in its ever changing blood doctrine, will allow a person to use fractions that take outrageous proportions of whole blood to produce. But those are okay to take. Wouldn't that statement, if it were true as silly as it is, apply to the fractions as well? Ridiculous.

The little boy had the blood transfusion. Not sure of the outcome, but it definitely made national coverage here in Australia. In fact, one newspaper had a comments section running and due to public outcry (from witnesses) had to shut it down so no one else could comment.

I wonder if he was a baptized member? If so, was he auto-DA'd because it was given to him? The public outcry from the witnesses to shut it down is telling of a mind control cult. I mean they say they have the truth, so if that were true, than the truth can stand on its own during attack. Oh that's right, they DON'T have the truth...

Absolutely agree here. With the access to the internet and the information on it, they have to be shitting bricks. It's no wonder they keep pounding the whole "guard against the internet", "be careful", "do not let technology control your life"... Did you listen to the talk on Technology from the DC downloads? I was lmao on the statements being made. They truly have no clue. It's aparent that the apathy level of the R&F is growing. It seems like the divide between hardcore fanatical foaming at the mouth JWs and sleepy apathetic drones is getting wider.

I'd write and ask for it. Get the "official" response to it, see what they use, compare it to what is already in print, then go to town in disecting it. We all know (or most know?) that it will be disproved by secular history, but getting another up to date response on it is always a good thing. Use their own information as ammo.
