zombies at the door
by WuzLovesDubs ini left to go out for my morning walk this morning and saw two men in ties with briefcases walking with an umbrella.
(it is south florida after all) and of course i knew who they were immediately.
i passed three more "groups" on the way out of the complex walking their baby carriages wearing their long dresses and practical shoes with their hair up in buns going maybe 1mph....and i couldnt leave fast enough.

More Society cutbacks - Society says "screw you" to the publishers yet again
by sir82 inat our service meeting it was announced that there is a change in the manner in which magazines are now to be delivered to the congregations.. up until now, magazines were sent to each kingdom hall via ups.
in years past magazines were sent to each congregation po's home address via ups.. going forward, magazines will be sent only as far as the assembly hall.
it is the responsibility of each kingdom hall to send brother(s) twice a month to drive out there, pick up the magazines, and return.. this of course saves a little bit of money for the society - shipping larger packages to fewer addresses will cost less.. however, what about the expense to the local congregations?.

Of course if you get into a wreck hauling the literature, they won't pay for it, we should all know the answer to this by now, you use your personal vehicle, it's your personal insurance that will cover your ass.
Unless you are employed by the Society, they won't cover shit that happens to you!

Can Jehovah Really Read Hearts?

then he would have known that he will punish them and all mankind for many thousands of years, which would case immense suffering, all to prove a point to his archnemesis!.

If he could/can read hearts, wouldn't he be able to know Satan's? Or since "Satan" is a spirit creature, they don't have a physical heart so therefore, can't be read? I mean why start at humans, lets go back to the angels that he created as well.

I believe the medical part of it he is on his own because he is a "volunteer" aka "free labor slave".
Any construction done is held to state/county building regulations as well as standard building code nationally. OSHA also comes into play. It doesn't matter that the org is using minions to complete their work, they have to follow "Caeser"s law when building.

by XPeterX ini received a call a few hours ago from an elder.of course he didn't call me to ask how i was or if i needed help.instead he told me that "the youth and some older brothers" of my congregation will gather (at another elder's house,you see 2 elders to "get a hold of the situation") to talk about the "internet,facebook etc dangers".i told him that i will go.hmmm...it's going to be an interesting conversation..

Funny statement about DVD replacing Proclaimers book on DC
by Gorbatchov inlast weekend i attended the dc.
i had special interest in the closing speech about "this generation".. the bethel speaker told us he lost track after the publication of the watchtower in 2008 about "this generation" and concluded that "this generation" can overlap only 1 time.
he stated that there is an absolute time limitation of "this generation".
