a couple of posts by hamsterbait motivated me to post this.. the elimination of the book study: it was the only place where those who were shy, or anxious, about commenting would comment.

Yup, well said. They want JWs to be 'no part of the world' yet will not allow or frown upon JW get togethers larger than 10 people. I once asked last year how come we don't have congregation get togethers anymore and an elder told me that it is looked down upon from the society. I asked why, he said, the society wants to make sure that no wrongdoing goes on at such outings and that everyone stays above reproach. I said, wow, that sucks, now what are we supposed to do?

yes, that's right, they really do not like people being able to read that book so they wanted links to it removed (it appears they have also been going after the hosts of the content itself as well).. unfortunately, i had to removed the links (which were dead anyway when i checked) and i'd ask that people don't re-post them (sorry).

Well, for the record, HAMSTERBAIT, since you called me out. I haven't linked a d/l site, I haven't posted it here or whatever. I was making a joke of the way that the WTS is reacting to this. It is hysterical, they have NO CONTROL over their lame ass organization.

So I'm sorry if I offended you in my sarcastic, rebellious, brazen attitude towards the whole fucking thing. If the WTS wants to hunt down each individual on this board and legally go after them for having downloaded or posted a link to the full book, let them, they won't.

They won't waste the money in legal fees to do so. Besides, these are our avatars and aliases. The deniability is too high for most of us for them to make accurate charges.

So in other words, chill dude. I respect Simon's wishes, I won't do anything to harm the viability to this forum.

Well, I have already printed a copy for myself. I should go into work on Saturday and print a few more and drop it on the doorstep of a few high profile churches in the area in a little "care-package" by a unanimous donor.

I'm feeling quite feisty... (that's 7 devils people, the mark of perfection!) ROFL!

It's funny, the harder they push, the more I want to take the pdf files I have of the whole book and print it up at a place like Kinkos by the hundreds and go hand it out to the public, to the church pastors, etc.

They must have control issues, I mean really, like it was said above, in this day and age, you really think it will STAY a secret? If they think that, they are living back in the early 1900's or something.

But for you Bethel lurkers that are reporting to 'mommy', your day wll come when I wish I could tell you to your face, I told you so.
