Life After the Tower
by jschwehm inmany individuals who lurk on these discussion boards remark at the hate and anger that is expressed here.
it makes them uncomfortable.
however, there is good reason why we see so much of it here.. for many ex-jws, the betrayal that they feel at the hands of the leaders of the jws is enough to make them extremely angry.

Unnecessary Suffering & Military Service
by jschwehm inalan f. demonstrated the deceit of the watchtower organization over the issue of alternate civilian service for military service.
there is no question in my mind that the headquarters got numerous letters over this issue after the change was announced in the 1996 watchtower.
they comment on this in the august 15, 1998 watchtower:.

Silentlambs on radio program this morning

Image and money are everything
by jschwehm inthe example of silentlamb's experiences and the discussion about the watchtower's business practices show that for the society image and money are more important than the welfare of people.. in silentlamb's case, they really do not know what to do with him.
they cannot df him since that would be a pr nightmare.
but they can instruct the congregation to mark him and treat him badly as they have done.

JW mother loses custody of son for refusing blood
by jschwehm inthe lincoln journal star has a story in it this morning about a jw mother in omaha who lost custody of her son for refusing to allow a blood transfusion.
evidently her son has sickle cell anemia and his red blood cell count became extremely low.
the young boy was complaining that he could not breathe.. the newspaper does not have this story on the internet but the paper says it is an ap story.. i thought you guys would want to know.. jeff s.
