Bane, no offense, but you may be in serious need of mental help. You seen extremely deluded, your posts are incredibly offensive, it is no wonder people choose to ignore you and your vulgarity. I have trouble believing you are an active witness as you frequent a board that YOU BELIEVE is an apostate board, regardless of what the board calls itself. YOU KNOW BETTER, no? So why keep frequenting? also stop attacking people simply for disagreeing with you, this is by definition a bigot. If you have a point of view different from others, no1 is objecting to you posting feel free to go right ahead, but dont expect immunity from being called on your bullshit, and dont use broad strokes to label all people that disagree with you demeaning names, doing so will and did result in people taking offense and defending themselves. Your posts have been amusing, you give positive re-enforcement to those that are not sure if they should leave the org, its just great, thanks!

Questions for BANE, SCHOLAR, and All Jehovah's Witnesses!
by UnDisfellowshipped inyou don't have to answer all of them at once.
i would be happy to see your answers to any of these questions.. remember, the inspired apostle peter gave this direction in the holy scriptures: "always [be] ready to make a defense before everyone that demands of you a reason for the hope in you, but doing so together with a mild temper and deep respect.
" (1st peter 3:15).

Did you ever feel let down by the Bethel tour?
by maninthemiddle inreading jeff's thread about dress made me think of my one and only trip to bethel.. i can't remember if i was babtised at the time, but i went with a bus load of jws.. like someone said in the last thread, printing presses and empty rooms.
i was very disapointed, however i don't think i had any pre-concieved notions of what it would be like.
what i was diapointed in was so much of the "tour" was walking hallways looking at exhibits behind glass.

best bethel tour i had was when i went with a cousin who is a non-believer and didnt speak english, so i was supposed to translate everything, he would tell me the worst things to translate to them, and id have to say something completely different... one example was there was a video playing and someone from my hall was shown, he said "oh, i know those whores", i had to translate while laughing "he recognized someone from my hall", the bethelite giving the tour didnt understand why it was so funny

What Stupid Things Were You Counseled For?
by minimus ini've always been told that i have a very good personality, that i'm humorous, etc.. one elder called me over and said that i was "smiling too much".
the other elders talked to the elder who counseled me and he came back to say that i should be like i was .

love this thread
for me it was having my sideburns too long, hair too long (it went a centimeter over my ear, the horror), after the counsel i cut my hair and burns for a few months, and then grew them much much larger, as well as adding more facial hair :-)
my sis was counseled for having her skirt too short (when she stood it was below her knees, when she sat it was right on her knees, how horrible)
