Nebuchadnezzar's dream image - no room for China?
by SweetBabyCheezits ina guy who used to be a jw buddy recently gave me hope that he's waking up to the wt fallacy.
he's concerned about the fact that china is becoming the next superpower, which creates issues for the statue in daniel ch.
2.. based on current jw light, there's no room for a single dominant world power after the "politically fragmented" landscape appears (the feet of mixed clay/iron).

Sab: China has been a super power for a while now. They are most certainly not merely "up and coming."
Eh?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Potential_superpowers
A potential superpower is a state that is speculated to be, or to be in the process of becoming, a superpower at some point in the 21st century. Presently, it is widely considered that only the United States currently fulfills the criteria to be considered a superpower. [3] [4] States most commonly mentioned as being potential superpowers are Brazil, [5] [6] [7] China, [8] the European Union, [9] India and Russia, [10] [11] based on a variety of factors.
The People's Republic of China receives continual coverage in the popular press of its potential superpower status, [21] and has been identified as a rising or emerging economic and military superpower by academics and other experts.
China, with the world's largest population, has slowly risen to great power status, with large growth in economic and military power in the post-war period.

My public talk on sunday
by mankkeli ini am currently preparing for the public talk on sunday and as i was looking through the outline some these thoughts just keep popping up my mind that in the face of several allegations and numerous scandal, wbts has not stopped claiming to be god's organisation, i am wondering if they will ever realise that their strategies are no longer appealing to the general public.
regrettably, they keep on publishing and printing using victims of mind control hazards to the detriment of over 7 million rank and file members and spiritual illiterates in the society.
i keep on pondering on how long this malicious activity would continue.

My question is, why do you do this?
MIB, some might need to go for the slow, strategic exit as opposed to what I did: Stepped down, quit field service, dropped the bookstudy, all too quickly. My wife and I argued for four years about WT doctrine and policy. That was rough going. Had I been a bit more slow and subtle, we might've been able to fade together in two years and avoid being DF'd for apostasy. Plus, I was lucky that my wife wasn't the type to leave my arse over it.
Just know that circumstances vary and the situation may be far more complicated for one person than another. For some, the fade just cannot be rushed.

A guy who used to be a JW buddy recently gave me hope that he's waking up to the WT fallacy. He's concerned about the fact that China is becoming the next superpower, which creates issues for the statue in Daniel ch. 2.
Based on current JW light, there's no room for a single dominant world power after the "politically fragmented" landscape appears (the feet of mixed clay/iron). Or, to quote him, "there's no China flip flops on that bitch." So when China has finally acceded to that position, WT will have to revise its light once again.
He says if that happens, I can expect some company.
Is anyone else hearing comments like this from within the ranks? You know it's gotta be bothering others, too.

A quote to brighten up your Monday!
by SweetBabyCheezits in"once upon a time, in some out of the way corner of that universe which is dispersed into numberless twinkling solar systems, there was a star upon which clever beasts invented knowing.
that was the most arrogant and mendacious minute of "world history," but nevertheless, it was only a minute.
after nature had drawn a few breaths, the star cooled and congealed, and the clever beasts had to die.. one might invent such a fable, and yet he still would not have adequately illustrated how miserable, how shadowy and transient, how aimless and arbitrary the human intellect looks within nature.

Shack, I know it isn't much but I hope you like it. I've been tediously working on this, nonstop, for many sleepless minutes, searching for *just* the right image.
Please pass along my congrats to the Shackess of York as well. I want her to know this occasion means to me than she can possibly know and that I've been pondering it ever since I opened this thread.
Seriously, happy anniversary and many more to come! I hope the beach dinner made up for the JWs' giving the Watchtower a reach-around in the restaurant while you two were trying to enjoy your breakfast.
rebel8: "Satan is working overtime"
I'll bet Satan would appreciate the compliment from those Dubs.
"That Satan is dedicated to his profession and will do whatever it takes to get the job done. He is diligent, dependable, always on time, and stays late. Recommendation for promotion and raise to follow."
Also clocking some O/T: the Tooth Fairy, Santa Clause, and that damn sock-thieving Gnome who lives in our laundry hamper.

Since You've Left The Organization Have You Turned Into A "Bad" Boy or Girl?
by minimus inthe witnesses say that if you leave the religion you will become a very vile person.
you will probably get vd.
you will get into drugs and booze, your life will go to hell.. personally, i've been pretty much the same guy although i would now be viewed as a "fornicator".

I'm not sure how to answer this question.
The second half of the answer is easy. If you have a penis, you're a boy. Sans penis, a girl. Presumably.
