what sins were the people in Noah's day committing that deserved worldwide destruction?
I can tell you this: the infants and children were GUILTY of being born into SIN! How dare they think they have a right to live like that! Thank god he wiped them off the earth by drowning them. It's always best to give little ones the death penalty before they're old enough to decide whether they want to follow mommy & daddy's course of life. Nip it in the bud early, that's what I say.
BTS: It's greatest success was having the Son executed.
It's greatest success turns out be the very thing that vanquishes it. It was its greatest failure.
The serpent bit the heel, yet that very action is what allowed the heel to crush the serpent's head.
Are we still talking about a literal spirit being? If so, for being one of the most intelligent minds in the universe, Satan is a poor strategist. So God sent his beloved son (or himself, if you believe that way) to earth to die for Adam's sin, right? It sounds like Satan did exactly what was expected of him to fulfill God's will. Why should that be held against him?
If Satan were half as smart as people credit him, I'd think he would've made sure NOTHING happened to Jesus. Protect him and let him die of old age (if that's possible for a half-spirit breed). Why would he work in harmony with God's righteous plan and help fulfill the "prophecies"? Seems counterproductive. Ol' Satan's not too sharp. It almost seems like he's a character written into a novel by someone who wasn't smart enough to bestow anything above a 10 year old's intelligence into that character's actions.
