  how do people know that they're part of the faithful and discreet slave class?how is seniority established?.

  I am a Jehovah Witnesses and have you given our beliefs a fair hearing?

  The majority of Christians atm have a faith based on 3rd century Athanasian creed.

  Jehovah's witnesses go back to an early belief in One true God Jehovah our Father overall, that the apostles under Jesus taught us. Arians at the same time as athanasians had similar beliefs in many points to witnesses if you need a comparative study.

  The battle between athanasians/trinitarians and One God Jehovah our father Believers is a centuries old one that athanasians won in the third century. After then any who believed the father Jehovah was our one true God and father (even in a small way) were killed and their words, writings destroyed. Burned as heretics.

  The truth of the bible couldn't be hidden forever and niether could the complete lack of mention of trinitarianism either so when people were finally free too, they did search. They searched for bible truths again and we found them from God's own word, clear to see, for those willing to look with fresh eyes. In this Jehovah's witnesses have been greatly blessed.

  John 17:1-3

  1 After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed: "Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you. 2 For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him. 3 Now this is eternal life: that they may know YOU, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

  This proves nothing. why base doctrine on something Saul did against God's commands? where did Samuel come from?

  The woman said, “I see a spirit a coming up out of the ground.”

  She raised "Samuel" from the ground as was the understanding with Jews that people where in the graves. He didn't come down from heaven in this sequence.

  Are we saying mediums have the power to get people from where? Hell, heaven, grave for a limited period then send them back?

  By raising him samuels asks Saul...

  15 Samuel said to Saul, “Why have you disturbed me by bringing me up?”

  Again the emphasis is that he was not aware and is disturbed by being raised from somewhere underneath that he had to be brought UP from.

  And he is an "old" man are people old where they go?

  All this section does is beg the question can anyone not sanctioned by Jehovah bring someone back from the grave? The bible makes it clear only Jesus has the power of life from his father so we have to ask how this witch got it?

  The credential argument is a fallacy one. Since you can have 100 member team of scholars but if they are clearly bowing to the presure of established doctrinal Bias from the past 1700 years from original trinitarians in their translations their credentials mean nothing.

  A Translations stands and falls on it's own merit.

  Thats a bit of a fallacy picture. Since We are only talking alternate names/titles for one person/being aka Jesus in this case (of which there are many more in the bible... Logos, lamb, christ, Immanuel, Servant, Messenger, Lord etc) Trinity is saying 3 persons can be one being which is a tiotally different premise.

  What Do JWs Think About Dinosaurs?

  i've seen evangelical sites that show dinosaurs dying in the great flood.

  these people believe that god created the earth in seven 24-hour days, and have wondered that if god could just "speak" the earth into existence, why he would need the other six days.

  (couldn't he just will it into existence in a flash?).

  when i look back at history, i see the great lengths people have gone to, to prove their devotion to god and to carry out what they though to be his will.. do you think the watchtower organization is truly trying to deceive people and cover things up or do you think they are honestly misguided or mistaken in some of their beliefs and policies ?

  if so, what purpose would they have for doing this?.

  The False Prophet Nathan?

  my mom is addicted to the wts.

  i've recently brought up the many false prophecies and she calls almost every week to show me new things that the society has said about false prophets and how they are not one.. the latest was the account where king david wanted to build god a temple.

  he told nathan the prophet about his idea and nathan basically said, well god is with you, you should do it.

  I am not arguing English words here but the Bible. There are no English words in the Bible! but it makes one thing clear whichever language we use there is an ability where God speaks directly to certain people call it inspired/God-breathed whatever you will. The Bible was created by the use of this specific ability. Duet 18 describes this ability as something certain prophets God speaks to directly and The messiah will have specifically. Hebrews confirms this.

  1 In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe.

  You cannot change this Biblical fact! And witnesses do not claim it as an ability. And it is claiming this specific ability falsely that gets you condemned as a false prophet.

  This is the truth of the last 8 pages and you try to blur it to the point where you seem to be even denying the Bible being inspired specifically by this gift because you deny it as a specific ability given to only a certain few?

  trinity challenge using only the new world translation of the holy scriptures -- let us debate and reason on the scriptures about whether god almighty is a trinity, or is only one person.. on another thread, bane said that we know for a fact immediately that nearly all religions other than jehovah's witnesses are false because almost all of them believe in the trinity.

  and bane claims he can "out-scripturize" anyone with the help of jehovah.

  You keep creating an oxymoron. God did not create things alone he did it with the help of his son this is a Bible given from hebrews. You think this somehow proves Jesus is Almighty God but it doesn't because the words use are the singular as in "one person" "me" "myself" Clearly separating "God" from his son but then trinity says God is three persons and You'll quote the use of "us" in genesis to prove it.

  You are not saying God created things himself alone You are saying a three person God created things together and that is defeating your own argument. Your reading your doctrine into this. Your saying Well yes three people did do creation therefore they are one and this simply doesn't follow. While we say Yes there are two people involved in creation God and his son (his master worker proverbs 8) so Jehovah works through his son but Jehovah is the only source and does scripture back this?

  You say God cannot claim to work alone if he uses others unless they become God which is weird since you ignore this for everyone and apply it only to Jesus (For others you try and explain it away or ignore it like with moses, prophets and Angels) We have our understanding shown and revealed to us in Bible scripture. yours is simply read into it.
