Witnesses and scientologist have absolutely no shared beliefs whatsoever and so cannot be used as comparative examples. Scientologist are not even a Christian faith despite the fact they have a cross idol as their insignia.

You might as well ask if catholism is a cult or baptists or hindu's or any religion or strong faith systems.

but we are talking about witnesses and the governments that recognise catholics and hindu's and baptists and church of England as religions also recognise witnesses as a religion.

This is board is your training ground for knowing Jehovah's witnesses alone? Then I would say you still no nothing about witnesses.

Especially if you would rather agree with a few posters on here than governments and human-right courts that are honour-bound to look into us deeply and simply say we are not a cult.

That is just a red herring. All governments know about our well-established stand on blood and it's biblical basis. It is not a credible reason to call us a cult. You would have to rewrite the bible and make blood a substance that isn't as dangerous (it may prolong lifes but it can cost lifes too, ask any person that has got Aids from a blood transfusion, or the millions that have died because blood was stored to long before transfusion to be of any benefit and caused great harm) as it is, to support your stance from that viewpoint. It's a fish that won't fly. Our stand has actually prolonged thousands of lifes because doctors have been able to pioneer bloodless techniques. Hospitals specifically speciallising in bloodless techniques are springing up because of witnesses. Can any other religion say that of their medical stand? No.

This is the moment where after you say on other debates threads that you are enlightened now, no longer blinded and have new critical thinking skills.

That you ask yourself why you need to say Witnesses are a cult despite most governments and human rights saying they aren't?

Please think about that carefully. Examine please how much you are being prejudiced by your anti-witness agenda!

Jehovah's Witnesses, most governments, human rights organisations define Cults a particular way and confirm Jehovah's witnesses are not a cult and ex-JW's, anti-religionists (I won't add cult experts since they do not mention witnesses. Their work is simply cold-read into biased info about witnesses) another way.

Again I ask who is being blinded by their prejudice?

Witnesses are simply not a cult! and you cannot make them be a cult!

Only in the minds of bitter, hate-filled, prejudiced opinion (that would curtail people's personal freedom to be in the religion of their choice) are they blinded enough to think they are a cult.

Go ahead and keep disagreeing with the European Human right courts that uphold us as a religion.

It does not mention 1975 it is simply quoting our stardard urgency line. I could find examples of this from every year since we started publishing Bible truths and I can also find examples from the bible itself too.
