Donations for a recognised religion is not the same as someone selling a books for their own personal profit!

where the early Christians profiteering by getting donations for the congregation?

Did franz go on to search for the true religion or did he just sit back and enjoy and live on the profits from his books?

In contrast Russell put all his money in searching for truths in the Bible and others then joining also committing their life's and money to the truths they found About Jehovah God in his word.

Are you so worried about imperfect people that you would give up the Bible truths that we have as Jehovah's witnesses?

I saw and continue to see how quickly the blinkers go back over people's eyes when they leave Jehovah and it is sad.

What totally different set of beliefs?

The main doctrines from the Bible remain unchanged from when they are penned in the Bible to now for those that actually see them.

Understanding how we fit into the prophetic Bible timescale is another issue and isn't just looking at the Bible but at fulfillment in the world around us!

What makes Jehovah's witnesses Jehovah's only people in this time from 1919 onwards. They do what no one else does and that is simply preach about Almighty God Jehovah recognising him as our One true God and father by name and action. spreading his Kingdom message from his son.

Who are the faithful and discreet slave? The ones doing the will of God Jehovah when Jesus came looking and we have been blessed by this.

You cannot change the reality of the world around us with your hatred of Witnesses. You cannot change the easy to see delusion that Christendom is under.

Are you saying the true religion Will be seen by how good it is at interpreting Bible prophecy yet the alternatively Bible says they will be shown by Simply doing the will of Our father Jehovah God despite imperfection.

We are the Jehovah's people simply because we are Jehovah's people when no one else even recognises him as God by name, deed or knowing him.

My name s debator! Not some long gone ex-posters name.

You appeal to emotion however cleverly worded regarding CoC doesn't hold up in the face of it's commercial history. It was published and provided Ray with money to live on among more publications he did on witnesses.

The moment he made any money on it takes away any credibility of him being this hard done by person.

"lacking Moral integrity" another baseless aspersion with no facts to back it up.

Like others you use the easy target of prophecy fulfilment which in every Biblical example is only 100% in hindsight and only truly gets seen at fulfilment but we are still meant to use it.

one by one interpretations get refined until they get fulfilled and we can look backwards and see the truth of them from how God inspired them originally. refinement in interpretation is not a sin but a necessity.

What lenient standard? All mankind is imperfect ATM to expect perfection is your unrealistic expectation on our Shepherds, that you ask of no other religious shepherds other than Jehovah's witnesses not even the Pope who actually does claim to have Papal infallibility.

God doesn't expect perfection of us but to use the Bible to get the correction which we do.

IF we have got a prophecy understanding wrong we go back to the bible!

If we have got a cultural issue wrong we go back to the bible.

If we need refinement we go back to the Bible.

why are you using Baptists as a comparison?

They follow the trinity god so even if they preach that particular god they are not preaching the true message of the Bible. They have 100% failure to preach about Jehovah almighty God.

And Baptists are known for having diverse beliefs differing from church to church. Only the immersion of adults being the one common factor.

99% of Christendom believe loosely in a trinity god which has many different forms but under that heading no two teachings are the same to any great degree.

Most of Jehovah witnesses main biblical doctrines where found and refined quite early on by deep study of real Bible truths letting the Bible explain itself and simply haven't changed since our emergence out of the trinity apostasy.

What is often sneakily used on here as examples for your (less than honest) claims against Witnesses is prophecy fulfilment interpretation which is a continuous process until they are fulfilled which also applies to cultural changes that have to be measured against applied Bible principle.

There is not one single example of People getting condemned for interpreting (Already written) bible prophecy. What you use on here are scriptures refering to people claiming to be inspired and making their own prophecies straight from God which is condemned deut 18 being a classic choice (but carefully edited to ignore the clear reference to claiming words directly from God)

Do you know what is worse about this forum?

It's lack of originality! People on here use the same worn, tired false arguments that are easy to disprove Biblical and are usually just clever word games to justify your positions.

To be a false prophet you have to make False prophecies you claim are directly inspired from God's lips!

Interpretation of already written bible prophecies and chronology is not false prophecy!

You argue from ignorance of actual bible teachings.

had a good look into the doctrine, beliefs and practices of jws and to be honest, i don't really see anything wrong with it at all.. it's biblical and i've had such an eye opener the past year or so reading some of their books and magazines .

is there really any real reasons why i shouldn't want to get involved further?

We do use the Bible as our only reference and guide, the publications direct us to the Bible alone. they are also used for administrative functions, encouragement and current cultural issues that need biblical principle applied to them.

The bible itself references written works, letters that support it while not being inspired themselves. this is allowed. And indeed a way the congregations and shepherds functioned practically.

2 Cor 10:11, Col 4:16, Act 22:5, Acts 15:20

1 cor 7:1 "now for the matters you wrote about...

Acts 18:27 "The brothers and sisters encouraged him and wrote to the disciples there to welcome him."

In what way corrupt? They have no palaces or private Jets, They refer everything to the bible, They work hard dedicated life's to Jehovah and for us in way that shows up Christendom with its shepherds that have fine robes and words yet allow the people to do great sins against Jehovah's word un-rebuked and letting the preaching work lapse into obscurity.

Maybe you are simply confused by Jehovah's witnesses actually having shepherds that take their Biblical directives seriously in the same manner that Paul, The Apostles and older men of the First century did. Clear examples of having to make autonimous decisions for the whole under spirit guidance as Shepherds.

Would you rather have the neutered and empty Christendom shepherds that allow you to ride any wind of opinion you flutter towards?

I agree many use the CoC as Justification for leaving Jehovah's people. And recognising that they have personally already made that choice is honest at least.

You cannot then say you didn't have the chance to be one of Jehovah's people and to preach his kingdom and do his will through his son Jesus.

Do you accept the consequences of your personal choice whatever they are?

You are addressing the division issue now. We are told to be in agreement as a united people. My goodness don't we already have the proof from fractured Christendom which despite serving the same trinity God have no agreement within themselves. Pandering to people's divisive natures bears the fruitage Christendom now reaps.

We have a biblical responsibility each and everyone of us to remain a united flock despite the pressures and imperfection and errors that may happen.

We do not put unrealistic expectations on the Shepherds to do all the work for us. Our unity as Christians is also recognition of our responsibility as Jehovah's people together.

Leaving Witnesses because you do not agree with having to obey shepherds is simply biblically wrong.

Yes and Ray made his money from the book too! Enough to live on with the addition of a few more books down the line.

Aside from this what happened?

Did he find God's true religion? Or did he become the Mascot for those that leave Jehovah's witnesses and go on very different and varied paths. Many away from any kind of belief in Jehovah God.

His fruitage is one of division and that in itself proves his actions were false.
