Welcome! No, not harsh at all. You are clear, direct, polite and firm. Perfection! I'm very impressed.

Passed my Post Grad with 'Outstanding' grade! Shows it's never too late.
by Lozhasleft ini've just had the official results on my pgce.
i'm not posting here to boast, but to encourage any who may have abandoned education because of the pressure as a jw, and who may feel that it's too late to return and achieve such goals.
in the 1980s i stopped halfway through my b.ed honours and accepted a dip.h.e.

Loz - is it a PGCFHE or PGCHE? Where I taught in England, it was pretty much required for lecturers to do. But because of my experience and post, I didn't have to do the PGCHE.

Hello and my exit story from WTS
by free2Bme13 ini thought it was fitting for me to share my freedom from the witnesses story on independence day weekend.. i dont have any secret info, just experiences that happened to me and started to open my eyes.. i was a third generation, raised in the truth kid who was never supposed to be born, and then never supposed to graduate high school.
ive now been out of high school longer than i was in school.. the beginning of the end started a little less than a decade ago.
i was late 20s at the time.

Thank you so much for your beautifully written first post. I enjoyed reading it, not because of the sturggle, but I thought you wrote it so well. I wonder, free2be, how many others have the issues and questions about the Watchtower Corp that you had but are struggling silently, plotting along going to meetings anyway? It is interesting that your parents also have issues. Again, I wonder how many others do as well. Watchtower Corp has done a good job, though, of creating a culture where it isn't possible to share any concerns out of fear for your spritual, and therefore, physical life.
Congratulations on escaping the cult.

I can't stand clutter. I get rid of things left right and center, even things I wind up needing. I am the opposite of a hoarder.

Smoking Gun?
by Crazyguy ini was unable to insert the pic from the april 15,2013 pg 29 but leaving jesus christ out of the illustration on page 29 is no problem for the governing body as they have now substituted themselves for christ.
the following quotations substantiate this:-.
''the faithful slave is the channel through which jesus is feeding his true followers at this time of the end.

Billy - absolutely. But how many Dubs will recognize this? I am sure with each new bat-shit crazy thing Watchtower Corp comes up with, some wake up. Perhaps many stay in due to fear. Sadly, I can't see this (or anything else for that matter!!!) as ever having much of an impact beyond those who are ready tow wake up and face the lies that have been told to them for many years.

Billy,
If you do ever get the chance to disfellowship one or more dubbies, can you please post about it? I'd love to read their reaction to being notified that you disfellowshipped them.

Billy asks for your prayers...
by Billy the Ex-Bethelite inif any of you still believe in god(s), please pray to him/her/them and ask that she/he/they send(s) bad enough weather to my area to hinder travel, but not cut off power.. is that request too weird for this forum?.
someday i'll share more details.
peace, love, brotherhood..

This is just a gentle reminder.

Good point, Julia. But this is a stereotype with some real truth behind it. However, that said, there are so many who are giving their all. I know some of them.
