I apologise, yes their teen daughter was not a JW as they let her choose, but what was interesting was watching her parents perception compared to the 'worldy' teen and their parents.

The parents made many references to them being JW's and how moral they are and how they brought their daughter up living a good clean life etc, all the time appearing on a tv programme Sun, Sex and Suspicious Parents, watching their daughter get pretty tipsy, go skinny dipping, smoking and getting kicked out of a club. The title of the programme kind of gives away the kind of programme it is. If the elders go wind of this, would they be approaching the parents wanting to know why they and their daughter have brought reproach on JW name???

If you are able to watch from the start Mickey mouse, you would see that the parents were sat around the table with the all litrature around them, just becuse the mum didnt pronounce the 's does that make this bull shit???

What kind of non Jehovahs Witnesses would have the JW litrature in their house or even claim to be if their not especially to millions of viewers in the UK? It dont make sense!

For those outside the uk, this is a programme where two teenagers go on holiday abroad for the first time with their mates, but what the teens dont know is that their parents have followed them out there and are watching everything they do, only at the end of their holiday do they realise that the parents have been watching them.

Its quite funny, but even more funnier that they have JW parents and their daughter on there

If you can get Iplayer outside the uk ( sorry not very up in this) but it would be on there to watch.

Wow....just wow and scary!!! I wish my jw mum would watch these videos, i can guarantee that she would recognise it as a cult, but im sure if I point out the simularities of them and jw's she would still dismiss it......heartbreaking not only for my mum but also for those in who believe aj millar really is jesus, and those innocent, vulnerable, impressionable kids who have no choice. I hate to say it but I cannot see a good ending to this at all, it has all the hallmarks of a jonestown

I hope their families can reach them and pull them back to reality before its too late!

Im so sorry about your uncle I lost my dad nearly a year ago and the pain dont go away, we just learn to adjust to it.

with regard to the 'its right around the corner' just look at the armageddon thread that was started 10 years ago!!! its just a figment of their imagination, a dream, and all the time they forget to enjoy and realise what what they have and make the most what they have now

Wording of "mentally diseased" press release - feedback?

as some of you may know, i am working with trailerfitter and cantleave in helping amelia with her efforts to complain about the latest "apostates are mentally diseased" article.

she has an appointment with local police tomorrow afternoon, as she has lodged a complaint under the 'hate crimes' act.

it has been suggested that this issue may merit some media coverage, and with this in mind i have prepared a draft press release.

sorry if i'm not expressing myself very well but i wasn't allowed an education due to wbt$ regulations.. what i'm trying to say is that the wbt$ using the term 'mentally diseased' as an insulting term against those fictitious 'apostates' they want everyone to 'hate', is surely very discriminatory against those that have a genuine mental illness.. it's like calling a white person that has caught a suntan the 'n' word isn't it?

offensive, inappropriate and utterly destructive.. in the uk the press can be pretty sensitive about such name calling that implies that mental disease is somehow to be used as a hate crime word.. is it worth writing to the press to complain about such discrimination?.

Im sorry but dont know how to put a link on here, but saw this today. Its funny because the JW facebook page that put this link to their site also put up about the catholic pope and the SNAP link, you should see the comments about that compared to this..apparrantly Jehovah will always prevail against those twisting things, yet the catholics...well im sure you all know what comments are made. What is funny is that the SNAP feed is about 3 above this one.....the most cognitive disonent comments i have ever seen!!!
