  Your guilty pleasures...

  when you were a witness, or if you still are, what types of movies/games/tv shows/books/other activities did you enjoy that the society might not find too appropriate for jdubs.

  for me here's a list of things i enjoyed that wouldn't have made the friends too pleased but that i rather enjoyed.. movies: all the best movies are rated r. whether it be language, violence, or sex.

  you'd be hard pressed to find a movie made in the last 20 years that is really good that isn't rated r. some movies i enjoyed that the friends wouldn't have wanted me to be seeing: the matrix, godfather, godfather 2, goodfellas, american history x, office space, the pianist, shawshank redemption, the shining.

  Interesting thing someone told me is that on the application for Bethel service a question was "How long has it been since you stopped listening to rock music". I just laughed when I heard that. Really? We all know how evil Journey is. OH NO! Avoid Huey Lewis at all costs.

  Okay so we all know 607 is a BS date. Here's my question, how does 607 work into the prophecy of 1914? I know there's the prophecy of the 70 weeks which the WTBTS applies to the date of the start of the rebuild of the temple down to 36 C.E. 3 years after Jesus died but which prophecy is tieing into 1914 via the 607 date? Am I missing something?

  based on this video shot from seattle, i think this 17-year african american teenage girl acted beyond normal expectation.

  she is seen threatening or attempting to hit a law enforcement officer who was doing his duty.

  the officer had to hit her face.

  World Cup Caution, To Silly Americans Like Me

  as an american i never followed soccer that much, as my thoughts are with the celtics right now.

  well my wife being from brazil was excited about the game this afternoon.

  brazil beat korea 2-1. as we watched the news from brazil excited about the win she noted "see no one works today at brazil, we all watch the game" and sure enough the streets are swamped with festa.. they beat korea what's the big deal i don't know soccer, but never heard of how good korea was at soccer (my apologies to any koreans that think different).. i have been warned if i want to keep my balls, i should cala boca (shut my mouth).. she gets me back during the summer when baseball is on.

  I heard Kim Jong Il hired actors to play North Korea fans. I'm not joking either. I'm not much of a soccer fan. To me, hockey is the ultimate sport.
