For the average person, it's nothing more than a diary. You can choose to share it with other people if they are actually interested in what's going on in your life. I have a couple of friends who have showed me their blog and I read them because I care about what's going on with them. Essentially, it's a diary. A place where you can just write what you are feeling without scrutiny and without loading down other people around you. I have one where I write stuff about my life which right now consists of the details of my exit from the organization.

I asked him if the Governing Body was inspired by God. He said yes. Then I asked how they would ever make mistakes in their writing. He said that they are infallible men, just like the Israelites of old. Then I asked him how many errors there were in the Bible. He said none. I asked him why? He said they were inspired of God. So then I told him if the Governing Body were inspired by God, there shouldn't be any errors in their writing. It didn't get to him. Just in one ear and out the other.

Why The "Truth" Breeds Family Failure - And Will Always Do So
by metatron ina somewhat conservative source produced an updated study on divorce and out of wedlock births.
their not entirely conservative conclusion?.
education and money tend to prevent both!.

That's a very interesting point you bring up. I would say JW's are doomed to fail in a lot of aspects in life. I think the worst thing is kids getting married. People who are only 18-20 years old because they have "needs" that can't be fulfilled otherwise.

He started reading to me the scripture in I think 2 Chronicles where it talks about in Cyrus first year he send Jews back to their homeland so that the 70 years would be fulfilled. He said "that's all we need to worry about". It doesn't match up with what history says happens. You can't argue history. It's set in stone. It's fact.

Well I've just had another visit with a eldurrrr. I haven't been sleeping well. I finally get a good sleep going and a couple hours later my stepdad wakes me up to tell me I have a visitor. Good grief.
He came to talk to me about how going on those apostate sites is bad. He was telling me he was talking to another person who has doubts and his line to him was "you're too intelligent for your own good".
So I gave him my timeline of Babylonian kings and he said don't even worry about it. Because the only dates that matter are 537 and 607. Yeah, he's right it does matter. Only thing is they have 607 wrong. That matters.

Could you live without the internet ?
by Hairyhegoat inwell i don't think me and my family could for even 1 day.
was thinking of moving from sky but when we found out about our data usage i was shocked.
we use over 80gb per month and we have unlimited package with sky.. we were advised another isp may restrict over a certain level so you best stay with us as we value your account... .

MrFreeze
I don't know any ISP's anymore that have a limited amount of usage. Sky is full of crap.

Holiday field circus: From both sides of the door
by WTWizard inhere is what it is like to those on the inside of the door:.
the children got up about an hour earlier than normal.
obviously, they are anxious to start opening up the presents under the tree (and most children are not going to want to sleep in on christmas morning).

Giving gifts and spending time with family, Christmas truly is evil.

Free Will?
by MrFreeze inas jw's we are taught that the reason we have free will is to decide whether or not we want to serve god.
we are all very aware of the jw position on children of non-believers.
they will be destroyed at armageddon, just like the children at sodom and gomorrah and back in noah's day.

These children don't have the free will to decide whether or not they are going to serve God, so why are they punished then? Isn't God supposed to judge people based on the free will they exercise?
