Something is wrong with my dad...
by Strider Arekksu ini keep prooving to my dad how fucked up this religion is, how it lies, and how it is willing to call jesus and the prohets liars if it comes down to the wire to justify it's existance as a religion.
the only thing i did not show him is the faulty logic that is used in their litaruature.. sometimes he starts getting it and trying to listen, but if i don't say anything to him for a long time, and go off and do my own thing (studying by myself for a couple months), i come back and he'll be back to complete brainwash mode.
and the sad thing is he does not go to the meetings, and when he did (very rarely) i'd go and prove to him how the organization is wrong!

Can someone please explain to me...

in the final dc talk they use joseph's brothers to indicate overlapping generations.
does anybody have any clue what that has to do with the generations in matthew?

Scientists are wrong...
by MrFreeze infrom what i can gather about the talk in the dc that featured the two new brochures, the scientists are wrong... except when they agree with the wt.
one sister who they interviewed even went as far to say that she was an atheist and it caused her and all her atheist friend's lives to spin out of control.
because we all know atheists are all drug addicts and have no self-control and nothing to guide their moral decisions.

Pretty much that the fossils that scientists find are accurate, as long as they prove that the earth isn't 6,000 years old but if the scientists bring out fossils that may prove that evolution is true, the JW's disregard it without even investigating it or providing any proof that the fossils aren't constructive to evolution.

Does anybody have any clue what that has to do with the generations in Matthew? I've looked at it every way and I just don't see where it's coming from. It's not like Joseph's children were included in the generation mentioned in Exodus. It was only his brothers.
Yes I know this subject has been beaten to death but I just don't get where they are even pulling it from. At least with most things you can make the WT reasonings fit if you try really hard and bend the pieces to fit your way. I just don't see how the two are even REMOTELY connected.
