I was trained to use date and viewer number to assign
my targets.I use that number as my queue for the target. But I don't
need it to hit the target.Then I work the session... write down what comes through.
Would you mind explaining your terminology? In this context what do 'date', 'viewer number', 'queue', 'hit', 'work the session' mean? Why is this jargon needed?

larc: Acceleration is change in velocity. Velocity has TWO components, speed and direction. Acceleration will be felt if either parameter changes. The force in the bucket is often called centrifugal force, but it only exists in rotational frame of reference. The bucket only feels the force of the rope pulling in and the intertial force of wanting to continue moving in a straight line tangentially from the circle of rotation.

bboy is right, just the terminology is vague.. the force in the bucket is acceleration; in general relativity it is the same as gravity. However bboy said that when you get far enough away from something massive you weigh nothing. That is not true, you will still be pulled by the object's gravity.

I can't wait for scientists to come up with a test for determining if you love your mom.
I am quite sure that by monitoring brain active as well as levels of various chemicals and hormones in your bloodstream scientists could easily tell if you love your mom.
Some of the people here are of the mistaken notion that there are a lot of these mysterious "unfigureoutables" that science just can't get a handle on, such as the above : love or other emotions. Someone else mentioned nonverbal communication (note: why doesn't this happen in email or message boards??? Answer: because you can't see the other person's face or body language!!).. just because most of us have no idea how these things work doesn't mean that no one has figured it out or is trying to figure it out.

You sound like the old- fashioned naysayers who decried radio signals as demonic because they traveled thru the air with no apparent explanation!
There is one important difference. It is easy to see evidence of a radio signal. I have yet to see real evidence of psi. Thus I can't claim anything about psi, other than it's overwhelming 'something smells fishy' factor.

That, too, is a different type of communication than what can be explained scientifically!
Are you serious? This type of communication absolutely can be studied and absolute is being studied.
Imagine a groupd of scientist trying to quantify a woman telling them, "I KNOW he wants me. I can tell by his look."
It's called facial expression and body language. It is practiced by humans and other social mammals. I would be astonished to meet any scientist who was confused by nonverbal communication.

Can you people PLEASE stop ridiculing people with these claims? Do you really beleive they are ALL crazy? That they are ALL dellusional and ignorant? If you saw something in exact detail before you physicaly went to see it, would you discount it as temporary insanity?

to answer your question yes I think people who believe in this stuff are deluded. If I saw something in exact detail before I physically went to see it? My first assumption would be that my memory was wrong. Memories can be really fuzzy things; they are often subconciously 'adjusted' upon recall to fit current perception of facts..
