The terminology of science:
A fact, in science, is an observation.
A theory, in science, is an explanation of the observations.

Evolution is a theory that could become invalidated tomorrow if a test came along that gave results outside of what Evolutionary Theory has predicted. In other words, the process of conducting science could be the undoing of evolution in an instant,
Evolution is not a theory and does not "predict". And it is a fact that no single "test" will refute but only reinforce it with further details.
It is not necessary to understand the origin of life on earth to validate and accept evolution by natural selection, cortesy of measurable genetic mutation.

Creationist "science" fails to meet the key criteria of any true science because it lacks empirical support, supplies no tentative hypotheses, and resolves to describe natural history in terms of scientifically untestable supernatural events created by a deity

Evolution is a theory.....
No. it is a proven fact.

The bastards declared there are too many mean laws that don't let them drill enough wells.....while they are earning historic profits. It is all a circus.
witch means wise one.

in the above thread, otwo made a comment about how someone might sue the wt based on their shunning policy.
i have not seen the topic discussed here and have been unsuccessful in getting the search function of the site to gather information about it, but i wonder if we as a group could sue the washtowel society.
church disputes can not be settled by secular courts. And last year the Supreme Court would not even entertain a review of our case.
That is not just an argument. It is the law.
Those entertaining similar fantasies, I encourage you to wake up, save your money and move on.
i have spoken to a number of jws since the annoucement was made about the private book study group being eliminated from jan 2009.. .
the governing body were fully aware that writing "satan is angrier than ever" as the opening sentence of the letter, jehovah's witnesses would put 2 and 2 together and make 5.. .
they were counting on this.
Sorry just confused as hell, does someone have a link or a flippin' Watchtower or something about the "recent" (not 1995) "generation" change?
Hope this helps: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xJIl7GYjrxY

For anyone who claims this can be done, feel free to contact a lawyer and get some advice. What I see is a bunch of daydreaming and unrealistic thinking going on.
Exactly. If the courts can't intervene in deaths caused for the blood ban issue, they certainly can't intervene in shunning. But hey, if you have a couple of million bucks to throw away, take'm on.
