Elder wants to do "other activities" with me
by InterestedOne ini'm fully aware that this is a cult, and i was waiting for the social elements to kick in.
so far, i have just been doing the "bible study," discussing doctrine, etc.
however, recently one of the elders said he wants to get together with me to do other activities.

How simple do you think is a child custody case vs. a wife backed by her cult? Research it. I mean it.
If she was already expressing doubts or having moments of insight, there may be cautious hope. But she seems to be 100% Borg. Your resistance will be futile.

Sorry, peacefulpete , but that writter was in peyote (as all creationist writters are) Also, he is basing his ramblings on an erroneous meaning of scientific theory. AND YOU KNOW IT.His definition is: “theory”: “An assumption based on limited information or knowledge; a conjecture.” "something taken for granted; a supposition". However, that is exactly what religion is: unproven assumptions.
And regarding his assertion that the universe rotates around Earth..... the link is sh!t. And if you still think he is serious, please finish primary school.

It is hilarious that you want to discuss science but openly chose to dismiss evidence in favor of emotion/faith. This is not even an argument...you are not even close to understanding the concept of science, never mind debating its usefulness. I wonder if you realize that you have been indoctrinated by the Teach the Controversy©®™ Christian movement. They want to promote a false perception that evolution is "a theory in crisis" due to it being the subject of purported wide controversy and debate within the scientific community, where there is none.
