Allergy Sufferers, How do you cope?

seems like the pollen count is way up there in our area, due to tree pollen right now.

but, if it isn't tree pollen, it's grass, etc.

for me, and then ragweed in the fall.

I use to use Allegra, Claratin ect ect. but they didn't really help me. So 2 1/2 years ago I started going to an allergist for allergy shots. I'm a new person. My allergies no longer bother me and in another year I won't take shots anymore. I've gotton very lazy about getting my shots since I no longer have any problems. Its amazing!!! I was allergic to trees, grass, bushes, pollen, cats and dogs............. I live out in the country and have 2 dogs and 3 cats. Look into getting allergy shots, I'm soooooooooooo glad I did.

I finally went to the grave site, and it was a definate reality check......

today, i was passing by where she was buried.

i went back to the office and told them i couldn't find her.

she had been buried in 1996!!!!!!!!

Your post hit the nail right in the head. Leaving is hard because it is scary to stand on my own 2 feet. I've never had to do it before. I've always been taken care of.

Alot has happened the last 24 hours. My husband and I have talked and it looks like a divorce is in the making. Were playing around with who keeps what and how we'd divide up our assets. Its so unemotional. I feel numb,excited,sad and scared all at the same time.

Pioneers Assist Others program

i was still an elder and i was present at the elder's school about three years ago when it was announced that the pao program would be re-introduced (it was evidently in practice some years before).. the program was a problem from day one.

it was very hard pairing publishers with pioneers.

publishers who were approached and asked to participate felt that they were being thought of as "weak".

I was on this program!!! I didn't like the pioneer sister that had been assigned to me but I didn't say anything. It didn't work out very well. Nothing changed. It wasn't very well organized . I also felt like I had been labeled weak but I already knew that................Soooooooooooo glad those days are over!!!

At what age did you join the Witnesses?

at what age would a person have to be to join the witnesses and not suffer too much?.

if they are children, it robs their youth.. if they join in the teens, they won't get a decent education.. if they join at 20 years old, they will have to marry a witness.. if they join at 30, i guess that would be less destructive because they already are married, have children, have a house, an education and a job.. at what age did you join, and how did it affect you?

I statrted studying at age 23, baptized a couple years later. I was already married but it still robbed my life of alot of pleasure for 10 years.

Thi Chi,

I DON'T live in California, I live in Colorado. Our cabin is near Grand Lake. The cabin is not very nice but its in a wonderful location. its in the mountains, within walking distance to one lake but has 2 other lakes nearby. Lots of pine trees, a ski resort close by, golf course and snowmobile trails. Its wonderful!!! A small tourist town is a few miles away. It will probably be hard to find a job there. Its a tourist area but there are some other small towns where I might be able to find something. I would love to live there.

I have to figure out what my finances are going to be. I sure appreciate all the responses and confessions. I need to leave. People get divorced all the time. I need to stop being so whimpy and scared and just leave!!!

I'm sooooooooo miserable. There is no hope for my marriage and I know that. I've been a chicken to leave and stand on my own 2 feet. My life WILL change drastically if I leave. I won't be able to travel and go places or afford the house I live in but money has not made my life happy. Its been an issue for me not leaving as well as just being scared to be alone. I do have kids they are 12 and 13. I've stayed for them as well but NOW I don't think it was all that beneficial. They see us fight all the time.

My biggest obstacle to having the affair is that HE is married. I could care less about my husband's feelings. That Jackass deserves anything coming his way. jurs
