has anyone here ever played with a ouija board?
if so, did anything weird happen?
I am very familar with ouija boards. When I was a kid, my mother was and still is into that kindof stuff. I would play the board with my mom and I didn't move the triange piece nor do I believe that she did. She could even play by herself!!! I also had played with a ouija board with friends. I don't understand how or why it works but it does.

I always enjoy threads like this. I'm a 35 year old female. I'm 5'5" and am married with 2 daughters. I love antiques, traveling, animals ,skiing , snowmobiling and Stephen King books. I can't believe how much my life has changed since I left the org!!!!! I'm having such a good time! I started a new career as a hairstylist. At first I hated it because I was scared to death I'd turn someones hair purple (which I did by the way) but now I feel alot more confident and my buisness is doing quite well.. I love having my own money. I've always relied upon my husband financially and it feels wonderful to be contributing and not be dependant.

I have a cabin at Grand Lake and thats where I most like to be. I enjoy skiing, snowmobiling and reading. Both my daughters play basketball and I confess to be one of those obnoxious parents who yell at the referee and take the sport way too serious. God , its so much fun!!! I wish I would have played!!

we all remember certain things and events when we were young, but do you remember certain events in your life when you were only 3 or 4 years old?
how far back can your memory go?.
I can go back as far as age 2. I can remember a bad nightmare I had!!!! I also remember watching Sesame Street for the first time . My brother and I had the chicken pox and we sat and watched it together.

i was an orchestra geek.
i played violin and took all the math classes i could.
In High school I wore a ton of makeup!!!! My hair was huge, I probably used a can of hairspray a week!!! It was the 80"s !!!!! I rarely studied, Its amazing I graduated. I struggled with math and didn't try very hard in any subject because I just thought I was dumb. I was kindof popular ( i hung out with the right crowd ) . EVERYONE partied where I went to high school. I started going to bars at 15 and I met a guy that was going to college in my hometown. We dated the rest of my highschool years and then some. It was really a shame. I spent all my time with him and acted like a little old married lady. I even finagled him to buy me a diamond ring and we were engaged. I had alot of fun in highschool before I got into a serious relationship. Then it was pretty boring.

where do i start?
it's difficult to bring up all of the negative start in life, however, i believe that without my upbringing i would not have known where to search for the truth later on in life - within.
the jw is all i knew from the age of 6. when i left at 19 in the year of 1973, i was disfellowshipped for sex, drugs, and rock and roll.

You've left the org quite some time ago, how did you end up here? When I left the org I had this site and it helped out tremendously. You really had to get yourself through it with out the support of those who really knew what you were going through. I imagine that must have been rough. I think you'll like it here!

forgive me just really venting here.
as some of you may know my mom suffered an accident about 1 month ago, she fell down a flight of stairs.
luckily she didnt break anything, she just had a minor concussion and some stitches on her head.

Vent away!!!!! I am glad to hear your mom is ok. I thought your comment about "who your mother really is, underneath all the watchtower dogma" was especially interesting. I went through an identity crisis after I left but I just now realized it after reading your post. After I left I had to rethink many ideas and try and figure out what I really believed or felt. It is rather sad that you really don't know your mom but even sadder that she probably doesn't even know herself!!

well, i left my mom's/stepdad's house tonite.
i got home not long ago.
it was me, my x, his girlfriend, my mom, my step dad, and my son(who was in another room watching a movie).
