  Do You Think "Religious" People Are Generally "Nicer" Than Non-Religious Ones?

  there are many religious people in this world.

  many that i know, are very friendly, accomodating and personable....because they're trying to act "christian".

  the same applies to some observant jews that i know.

  Not all, but most so-called religious people tend to be haughty and puffed up.

  They tend to look down at people more, they think they are favored.

  most ,not all non religious people, tend to be more down to earth, have

  morals and lead decent law abidding lives.

  Restrictions on sanitation supplies at a$$emblies

  now that the grand boasting sessions are well under way, now is a good time to discuss what they are restricting on supplies there.

  the "one towel" rule is quite famous by now.

  however, i have heard scattered reports that they are rationing things like toilet paper as well.

  just wanted to introduce myself.... .

  i am a secret fader but since reading this forum i feel i am alot more confident about telling my family/friends that i don t go to the meetings and inactive.. my hubby is also a fader with me...we kind of drifted after my first baby was born.

  she is now 11.. it all started with my mom who started studying with my cousin when i was about 15. while she was studying i also started studying (i was about 16).

  It has been, Compare the two sentences on page 71 in the Reasoning of the Scriptures book that says: There the eating of blood is equated with idolatry and fornication, The last sentence in the next paragraph says: "Similarly, any food to which whole blood or even some blood fraction has been added should not be eaten."

  August 2006 Awake on pages 11-12 says: "As for the various fractions derived from those components- and products that contain such fractions- the Bible does not coment on these, therefore each witness makes his own personal decision on such matters."

  you do not have to be disfellowshipped, even if you were shunned after being marked or after fading.

  all comments are welcome, such as who shunned you, how long since family have spoken to you, what your situation is, why you are being shunned and how it has made you feel.

  It's My Birthday

  51 years old, born into the lies, been out of the jws for almost 8 years, but still never had a birthday party (birthday virgin) lol.

  24th july is the day, anyways i was born in new zealand & as they have just entered the 24th i guess it's now my birthday.. where the hell have the years gone especially the last 10?.
