I like to respond to the first link to show the stupidity of the WTS also

80 year old Jehovah's Witness Graham Browne states to man who threaten suicide
" God views you as precious, ' I said, ' And he has given you a wonderful gift___life. Why not show him that you treasure that gift ? "

" So God loves you and wants you to live."

" But if you slip, your precious life will be lost, that would make Jehovah sad. "

QUESTION : Could Graham Browne use those same words to a person who choose to die ( suicide ) when they refuse blood ?

ANOTHER QUESTION : If Jehovah can restore life to a person who commits suicide by the refusal of blood. Why be sad. When he can be a happy God and do the same for the one who chooses to jump ?

ONE MORE QUESTION : Graham views, " This life as precious " ( I'd say Like a real Diamond ). The WTS claims " this ain't the Real life " ( Cubic zorconia )

Jamaican Branch Office Closing
by jw07 ini'm from jamaica, montego bay to be exact.
if there are other jamaicans here, feel free to let me know.. with that said, it was announced at our last meeting (a letter was read) that the branch office (bethel) in kingston would be closing, and affairs would soon be directed from us hq.
now the branch office here is a large compound built on acres of prime real estate.

Sadly Kneehighmiah,
many born-ins go from one extreme to the other. It's hard for them to find balance
and some even commit suicide

Converts are more likely to go back to they way they were
many converts find out that what they had wasn't so bad after all
compared to the grueling life of a Witness
.

The WTS encourage part time and low wage jobs ( Janitor and window cleaners )
They ain't no better than Wal-mart when it comes to jankin' the system for food stamps
to supplement those in the ministry

A radical direction for the WTS - speculation thread.
by besty inwhat might the wts do to counteract growth stagnation and attrition?.
of course they could ditch certain teachings and practices such as blood, shunning and homophobia.. how about if they closed the kingdom hall network (all proceeds back to mothership) and built out more regional mega-churches?

it depends on whats goin' on in thier lives at that particular time

Before I got involved ( After 1995 ) , like many , I knew very little about JW's or their constant changes in the " Truth "
Had I known, I probably would have refused them. Because the truth does not change

I never looked them up on the internet because they never crossed my mind
After I accepted a study, I was warned against the internet and about scary apostates
that tell lies through it. I now consider myself an apostate, and I have told no lies when it
comes to this religion

Now that the WTS has gone full steam in the promotion of their website through the very thing they warned against
they will now bring attention not only to themselves, but to sites like JWN, Freeminds, and JWFACTS
Through the means of the internet they will expose their own falsehoods

The WTS should be afraid. very afraid
Through JW.ORG, they have begun to dig thier own grave
they will make the door to door work useless. A waste of time
because every house that has a mouse, will click and be aware of who they really are
and that they do not have the truth

Apostates don't need to purchase a billboard, the WTS has done that for us
