to be clear, we just built one in MD as well. The money is ALL LOCAL. in fact, it was 99% paid for during construction. and all the contributions go to the branch from the first day. Assemblies are big money makers.

SALT documentary

synopsisin his search for somewhere i could point my camera into pure space, award-winning photographer murray fredericks began making annual solo camping trips to remote lake eyre and its salt flats in south australia.
these trips have yielded remarkable photos of a boundless, desolate yet beautiful environment where sky, water and land merge.

Do you like Sunsets? why?

I would suggest that people like them, not for their beauty per say but, as you mention CJ, its what they represent. Thus we associate them with "good" things and they beocme "pretty" to us because of that association.
I would also suggest that everything does not need an explaination. If big mamories turn you on, they turn you on. If a sunset is "purty" then damn it its "purty".

she is obsessed with being a pioneer.
i am so close to getting her to stop... yknot has been invaluable with a lot of personal things that have made a big difference, but i need a little nudge... if someone can find a quote from a wt source that shows it is wrong to neglect family to pioneer... damn hard to find.

ahh '67 thank you mythbuster. No wonder I couldn't find it. The 09 CD rom only goes back to 70. more erasing of history.
@mosche, your absolutely right and I have. What I am trying to do now is sooth her conscience a bit, show her its OK to not pioneer from the society's own lit. Futile I'm sure but I have to try.
