something jws say that to a lot to people who have left or are leaving the org.. i find it very a very ironic statement since the wt and awake, or any wt literature for that matter, is never critical of itself and never directly addresses refutation of their doctrine and predictions.... i was raised a witness, as many of you were.
i have been subjected to "one-side-of-the-coin" for almost 2 decades!
the only true way to bring balance to my information is to look at the other side of the coin and give it great consideration.... -sab.
Many ex-JWs had 2 or more decades reading literature provided by the Society, purposely avoiding anything critical of the WTS. This is what got Wile E. Coyote into difficulty. He never read any independent reviews of A.C.M.E. products, obviously. Must've been the JW of coyotes, rejecting everything from his mailbox except A.C.M.E. brochures

They simply had to be. They both embarked on their carreers as WTS leaders by jumping into the PREDICTION game...they both failed miserably and of course now they had to explain their failures...it takes a lot of spin to make folks believe you are still "God's Channel" when Father Time proves your claims false...time after time...
