Agreed Sab. I actually really liked Revenge of the Sith (but not nearly as much as the originals)...but how could Lucas turn Vader into a whiny, sniffling noodle of a man in that scene? It was embarassing.

starting today i'm going to work out 30 mins on weights one day, and the next day 1 hour running or walking.
PSac: nothing gets you huffing and puffing like throwing 3 minutes of kicks, LOL !
It is amazing how grueling one full round (3 mins) on the heavy bag can be. When I was in better shape I would do that too...time a "round". By the 3rd and 4th rounds I'd be exhausted.
If that is tiring, can't imagine boxing for real. I've never sparred but would love to try it.

Nomad...if your thread title was "Any workout dabblers in here?" that would be me. Was in the best shape of my life about 5 years ago....lots of running, mtn biking, and weight lifting. I've slid a lot since...granted had some bad sciatic issues for a while.
I want to play some hockey this winter so I need to get back at it too. Love mtn biking and live in a great area for it...west coast BC. Maybe this thread will be a motivator.

"well, seeing how you were in a cult- i can understand why you're an atheist now," just dismissing the bulk of the reasons i have for my disbelief.. i think what is particularly awkward about someone telling me this is- it's part way true- only part way though.
however, they stop listening after i explain to them that, "yes, being in a cult was an impetus to my search" and they fail to hear the rest of what i'm saying and believe that i went from point a to point f and just skipped all the steps and months of research in between out of some kind of anti-jw tantrum.

no one....based on your previous comment about kangaroos, ice core samples, glaciation, drift...you have a good list of things that they won't have answers for. Well, as undercover pointed out they'll try to rationalize, but it won't be logical.

The older gent simply stated that the oceans were fresh water bodies before the flood and that there was a salt source that gradually dissolved to create salty oceans
Regardless, it is complete BS to think the oceans gradually became salt water over a few thousand years.
