Why are the (expected) countless millions of transitional fossils missing?
You got to question the intellectual honesty and motive of this campaign when they include questions like this. Evolution says nothing about the origin of life or abiogenesis. Missing fossils? First, we are very very lucky to even find fossils...they are wanting "countless millions"? Right. Every time a fossil is found, they point to the gap between that and the next fossil and say "where are all the intermediary steps?" ...or..."now we have twice as many gaps!".
As for some of their other questions - who does have those answers? They might as well question everything we know about the universe because we do not yet know what Dark Matter is. What we don't know yet does not completely negate what we do already know.

here's the deal.... my youngest sister is in the process of a fade.
my family knows she doesn't go to the kh anymore and that she is seriously dating a 'worldly' guy and very close to being engaged.. my parents have planned a weekend getaway for the family (exclusing us of course) and my mother indicated that the boyfriend would be included (although of course separate bedrooms).. then all of a sudden she called my sister today and said something was said in the wt study and so now she is not comfortable with him coming.
I think they're probably starting to study the July 15 WT. They hit on the "bad associations" thing hard, staying separate from this "world". Warn against apostates, needlessly associating with DF'd ones, etc.

As a beleiver I see God as the "first cause" of everything, but I don't go as far as to say that God drives natural selection but more that God created the universe (and all in it) with the ability to adapt and grow and evolve.
Just curious PSac...okay let's say God seeded life on this planet and pressed the "Go" button...do you think/feel God "interfered" with life again after the evolution process started? Meaning at some point did God "aid" the advancement of humans, either exclusively or more than any other species? (And agreed this isn't a "believer vs non-believer" thing, just am interested in your thoughts on that...)

So, the environment drives the proces we call natural selection to cause our DNA, that is equipped with the tools to, cause an evolution in a species to better adapt to those demands imposed by the environment?
An interesting development...elephants over the past 150 years have shown a rapid change by evolving smaller tusks due to poachers. Cool!

Richard Lenski has observed evolution in the lab for 20+ years now with his E. Coli experimentation. Starting with 12 nearly identical bacterias they've observed a wide array of genetic changes. Including one stand-out adaption being able to grow on citric acid. They have now observed over 50,000 generations. It's quite fascinating.....Dawkins explains it at length in The Greatest Show on Earth. Though I had to read that part twice.
