  This thread (and many others) reminds me of this Bruce Lee quote. Out of context, but it can apply to believers slipperiness when questioned about their beliefs:

  Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water my friend.

  Good advice, though some whiskey in that water would be better.

  how do you account for the odds (1 in 10 to the 157th power) that even just 48 (of 300) old testament prophecies were fulfilled in jesus christ?.

  in what sense was jesus a "good man" if he was lying in his claim to be god?.

  I need to clarify my predicitions, as there's been some murmuring that my prophecy may fail.

  When I said Pittsburgh, that was meant to represent an overlapping region. So any team in the Pennsylvania region will make it to the Finals. Same with Vancouver, that represents the Pacific coast. So any team in that overlapping region, such as LA or San Jose. Hope that clears things up.

  Ah, Hurricanes are a much better choice undercover. Don't think I've ever seen the word 'fan' and 'Blue Jackets' in the same sentence.

  How about them Pens last night.

  Now you're playing dirty. Next time we go into the corner I may spear or slew-foot ya. But really, yeah the Pens blew that one. Hate how complacent they play with a full lineup, where's the desperation?

  tale: no TV/no playoffs? That just ain't right. There's always internet streams, try here.

  trueone: I'm all for the Canucks unless they meet the Pens. And Lou will indeed have that really bad game, a few of them. I'm counting on that happening in Game 6 of the finals against the Pens.
