  Racial question about the annointed aka 144,000...

  as an african american associate of jehovah's witnesses (since the age of 5, actually i remember going to the kingdom hall as young as 3).

  i've always wondered why most of the annointed were and are white.

  i know there are a lot of white people on here so why is it that there are.

  this will be my last convention.

  Thanks sizemik. Yeah, I'm actually going in the middle of next month. I'm gonna keep a journal. I'll post my experience. I have to go back, well, first and foremost, to visit NYC and just to 'make sure of some things' if you know what I mean. Its gonna be a big act during the whole trip!

I'm bascially going just to say goodbye to everyone. I can't believe I'm officially 'on the other side.' I started my search at the end of 2009 by reading crisis of conscience. I still want to read Steve Hassan's combatting my mind control. I've recently just found out how harmful the bible is, and although I'm not a 100% atheist I am an agnostic-apostate. I'm SOOOOO HAPPY that I found out about the truth about the truth.

  Thank you all for your wisdom and kind words over the past year.

  having been a born in for 44 years i can say yes to this question.

  my 2 sisters and 1 brother and my dad have nothing to do with my family now we have made our stand against the jw's.

  i was always downtrodden at school for been a jw.

  Do birds fly?

  They might not literally murder people with a knife or gun, but first and formost, they break families apart, and they know their blood policy is wrong, but they stand by it. Thats a murderer in my book.

  The watchtower was so hardcore back in the day.

  Bible bootcamp.

  I know their still watchtower gangsters now, but they were beyond crazy back in the day, Rutherford, Knorr, Franz n' company.

  So, how many of you stayed single or childless for the sake of the Kingdom? And how many people in your Hall are single or childless for that reason?

  in my hall growing up, i remember 6 childless couples.

  some have died, some are still alive.. i stayed single for the kingdom, hope to change that.. presently in my congregation, there are 4 brothers over 30, two over 40, that are single for the kingdom.

  and about 10 single sisters over 25.. three of the five married elders have no children.

  I'm 28 and havent had children (and currently single) I dont think I'll be having kids for a while. It kinda scares me that some organization can have power over people like that. It really effects people's future. I dont know if I ever want children, but the more that I wait the harder its gonna be for me to have kids.
