I dont think that religion is coming to an end anytime soon. Their just in a stage of redefinement at this point. They may even change the name of the religion in the next decades or so.
Dont hold your breath; not ending anytime soon.
hello friends.. i notice alot of talk about the future and what it would take to bring the whole thing down and no one seems to think it can or will happen any time soon.
just seeing people here talk about what will happen once 2034 comes and goes is very discouraging.. i'm amazed this religion continues to move along as it does.
building, growing etc.

i was at my friend's volleyball game when i looked down at my clock on my cell phone and realized its been 100 years since jesus starting ruling from the heavens and satan was casted down to earth.
wasnt it october 1st 1914 when jesus decided to kick satan out of the heavens?.
.

^ I know right. This religion is such a cult.
it has been a while since i've seen a witness, either in person or virtually.
searching for someone on facebook took me to the profile of a ministerial servant that i know.
i scrolled through his wall to see who is still around and found this gem:.

feels like just yesterday that i decided to stop going to the kingdom hall.
after i got done reading crisis of conscience, i never felt the same about this religion ever again.
i've been on an emotional rollercoaster for the past four years.
Feels like just yesterday that I decided to stop going to the kingdom hall. After I got done reading Crisis of Conscience, I never felt the same about this religion ever again. I've been on an emotional rollercoaster for the past four years. Now I finally found peace. My parents and brothers know how I feel. I just wish I had have been more quiet about my feelings.
i realize some people feel they can't just leave the religion.
they have family, friends, position.. some elders mistakenly believe that they might be able to reform the cult from within.
the truth is, the religion is never really going to change.
I couldnt agree more. There was a lady that I meant off of another website, and I told her the same thing.
a month ago i went to walgreens to get some snacks and a newspaper.
i was walking out when i noticed an elder that i grew up with walking towards me.
he kinda looked in my direction, the turned his head away and kept walking with his nose in the air.
^Yeah I should have done that.
there was a convention in milwaukee from june 20th-22nd.
the witnesses literally took over our hotel!
they were more demanding than i remember when i was a kid.
@ alphaman:
I helped him with his reservation(s). I mentioned to him that my parents were Jehovahs witnesses. He remembered my name and mentioned me to the 2nd shift front desk person. When he finally saw me working 3rd shift, he and his wife were coming back from the convention. I saw him in the hallway, he says thank you, and gives me a kiss and a hug! I was so shocked, especially since he did this in front of his wife. He said that was his way of saying thanks for helping me with his reservation(s).
