  I never understood field service...

  it was always boring, and i was afraid that i was gonna get attacked by a dog.

  i actually almost got attacked by a rottweiler once.

  i didnt get paid for it, nobody listened to us, i actually had guys make passes at me while i was out doing street corner, i was always afraid i would get grouped and raped.

I didnt get paid for it, nobody listened to us, I actually had guys make passes at me while I was out doing street corner, I was always afraid I would get grouped and raped. Every Saturday morning....it felt like slavery.

  surely someone who eagerly looks forward to the death of billions of people (including babies and children) is not emotionally healthy?.

  yet, that is the key belief "happily" anticipated by witnesses.... food for thought?.

  last sunday i visited a hall to see a friend.

  the brother giving the talk spent the first 20 minutes talking about how bad the world is and then the next 10 minutes he pointed out how god's kingdom is the answer.

  one thing he mentioned is all of the millions of starving children in the world and how the money that we spend on just a few bombs that are dropped in the wars could feed thousands of children.

  Are Jehovah's Witnesses marriages even legit?

  i ask this because of the circumstances behind why they get married and who they get married by.

  i know people say that they are really in love, they love jehovah, etc, but are these marriages even legit.

  i've talked to older jw's sister who are now widowed, some of them say that they were trapped in a marriages.

  And then having to spend my adulthood hearing about how I should worship Jehovah. And forcing that onto my kids, no way.
