  Legitimate question maybe a lesbian could answer for me?

  up front and first off....some of my bestest friends on the planet are lesbian and i love them to death so this has nothing to do with acceptance or not of it.

  im all over same sex marriage and respecting all human beings' rights to live their lives as they see fit.

  i was wondering...and i have wondered this for awhile....why some lesbians, who obviously dont like men, then choose to dress in men's clothes, have men's haircuts, wear men's shoes, flatten their chests, wear no makeup and look and act like men.

  I think that a lot of women desire to be manly like, however they dont want to be WITH a man. Me, myself, am a femme lesbian, which means I still dress and act more 'womanly' but I like women. Now, I do have a certain type when it comes to women. There are a lot of gay women that dont like being 'touched' on, aka: stone butches, studs, maybe even some soft studs, but there are femmes that dont like being touched in certain ways also. Everybody has there thing, rather they are gay, straight, etc. Now I've never had a desire to dress like a guy, but every woman, rather she is gay or even straight, has there reasons for perfering men's clothing to women's clothing, I think its something in them.

  just starting this thread because i really want to reach out and hear stories from lgbt witnesses both former and current.

  i myself am a african american lesbian and i was raised indirectly as a 3rd generation jehovah's witness, and my parents know about my sexuality.

  i dont know if i'd get a good response here, (i thought about going to a more private forum on this website) but i'd think i'd get the better response here.

  Whenever I heard the brothers get on stage and talk about gay issues and gay subjects, they also make the gay person out to be an aggressor, the person who is inticing the straight person. I was born in 1983 in Wisconsin. I dont even want to know how the talks were 20, 30, 40+ years ago.

  Just starting this thread because I really want to reach out and hear stories from LGBT witnesses both former and current. I myself am a african american lesbian and I was raised indirectly as a 3rd generation Jehovah's Witness, and my parents know about my sexuality.   So...how EVIL was Theodore Jaracz??

  i'm reading crisis of conscience right now and even raymond franz mentioned in his book that ted jaracz didnt vote during governing body sessions based off of 'a gut feeling' like dan sydlik and lyman swingle did, but voted based off of having 'a mean spirit (dont quote me on that) but bascially got an overall vibe that ted jaracz was not a very nice man.

  and whats this about the child abuse policy that he enforced?

  what did he do that made every ex-jw's in america hate him?

  I think he would say that that big A has come, and its come in the form of a woman...and then he would ramble on about 2010 being a luuuuunar year or something like that and how geographical proof is that Lady Gaga is Babylon the Great.

  Just kidding I LOVE lady gaga...I think she would scare the poop outta Fred Franz.
