Cults prey off of the uninformed, does that mean people now a days should know better?
by sabastious inthink about the people on the other side of the jw preaching work.
the jw mind control takes a decent amount of time for it to "take effect" so-to-speak.. if you have the internet you should be looking up all watchtower claims and verifying them for yourselves.
if you get snared because you didn't have all the facts in this day in age... shame on you!.

I think its the matter of knowing something is not what IT SAYS it is, and ignoring what the actuality of it IS. You know that something isnt right but you pretend like it is right. You see things, you hear things that dont sound right, but you ignore that little voice in you. Some honestly dont know. People have to find out things on their own.
With that being said, there are some more elderly witnesses (born before 1950) who honestly DONT KNOW. But I would say, for the people born at the tail end of the baby boomers, and generation X witnesses and up (born after 1965 and beyond) I know they have access to the internet, and they can easily find out certain information without the help of the towers. Like I said, all the matter of them not wanting to know when the proof is all around them. Just reading the whole 'overlapping generation' thing has given me proof that something is not right.

Me and my mom got into a discussion about this, and my mom said if its really about celebrating peace and love, then why do it on Dec 25th, when people know thats not the day that Jesus was born? Why not do it another day? Why cant we show our appreciation throughout the year?
