My mom recently caused my dad to lose his ministerial servant position. She is always angry at him. If he stopped going to the kingdom hall she would really be angry at him. Your damned if you do or damned if you dont with those people.

You guys know shes a little bit older than him by a few years, shes actually 2 years older than me. I agree he does seem pussy whipped, whoever said that. I agree with the hypocrisy on the privacy thing. Many celebs claim to want privacy but their famous, I dont understand it. Overall, I do think they make a good look couple.

That's if you can or are allowed to have a career. Having a career is a privilege. I've had jobs but I do not have a career. Especially the college thing, that's a whole other subject.
No, I am not lazy. I've always been able to keep a job but I DO NOT have a career. You can have a job all day, but having a career is different.
When it comes to the mind control thing, it all comes down to the individual person. Some people can break free from it, some people CANNOT. It's almost like a cancer that you think has gone away, but it always comes back. I'm African American and the Christian culture is so strong, that it's impossible to fight against. I'm a humanist, but most people that I associate with do not understand that. My J dub aunt called me a Scientologist???
Even when it comes to my family, it seems like things are getting better, they always get worse. My mom has undiagnosed bipolar disorder and goes on her rants and raves. Nice as all get out to people at the kingdom hall but turns into satan as soon as she gets home.
On another website, I read a thread that said life is mostly a scam and I couldn't agree more. We are mostly here to make richer people even richer.

I should have left completely by the time I was at least 21 and acted like it never happened. I had my own place back then. Sadly I was still attending meetings even tho I had my own place.
The mind control that they use is irreversible. That mind control is very powerful.

I have done therapy. First and foremost, you have to have the right insurance or good or great insurance to get the best therapist. I have state insurance, you don't get the highest quality therapist having the type of insurance that I have. I'm a low-income person and I don't get the highest quality therapy having the type of insurance that I have.
Therapy has been somewhat of a joke for me.
I can do readings on cult recovery and how to combat cult teachings, but I wish I read stuff like this a long time ago. It's really tough you guys. It really depends on your situation.

I really understand that there is a religious conspiracy, just based on the experiences that I had in my life. I really hope that there is a huge backlash and national outcry against highly controlled groups. It really is a conspiracy. Even when you want to leave, it's like they have a psychological hold on you that can never be reversed.
Really trying to get myself together in 2021 both economically and health-wise, trying to get my diabetes in check, trying to finish my human services degree, and hopefully move in the next year or so, maybe to another place, or to another city.
