guess the overlapping generation concept is difficult for most to comprehend.

the cutoff date for this generation has now moved to 1992 (was once 1935), the year that fred franz died.

The elderly sisters are at it again.

awhile back, about a year and a half ago, when i was starting to wake up, i explained to my mom that when the circuit overseer is in town, they schedule shepherding calls after lunch, not because they care, but because they dont want to work door to door in the hot summer or cold winter.

and they know that a prepared call means some nice hot chocolate and cookies or some ice cold tea and snacks.

i remember her looking at me kind of funny so i ended the conversation and left it at that, and never brought it up again.

This is not to say I had been immoral ...only that I was young & divorced. I always wondered about this kind of stuff.....when I was much younger & good looking the circuit servant (co) was at our hall, sitting with an (head honcho) elder. I was sitting to the side of them & up a row. Every time I looked in that direction, they were staring at me.....kinda pointing. Wow did I feel uncomfortable. So reading these words rang a bell....ding ding ding. A woman knows when she is getting the once over. Now I know they really were! Thanks!

the average per month is 84 new member per month or 4368 a year or 21 per month... i think i am making my numbers a little low.. i just hope this is the begining a huge schesim to hit jw land.. it's too bad my brain washed wife won't be one of them.

I almost gave up today except for a girl her tried to throw herself infront of two cars.............

this may sound insane but i literally have blood on my hands as i have just come home from a counselling session that went wrong...i wanted to collate all that has happened and record it...hospital policy is against it.

i said "what am i alive for then if not to tell the truth" she tut tutted and i walked out sadly in despair.. when i got to the ground floor there was a young girl screaming her head off.

she was afraid, that is all she was...........afraid.

Intro and Thoughts

i've been lurking on the board for almost a year now and i think i'm ready to come out of hiding (although, i'm so nervous as i type this).

i'm not ready to share everything about my story, but the basics are that i'm a born-in, elder's kid, baptized as a teenager because i was tired of hearing people ask me "all your friends are baptized, when are you going to get baptized?

", married an unbeliever (was df, but came back shortly after) and we have two kids.
