  Yinzer .... very glad that you have found this site & welcome!

  Loved your writing ...I could feel your dilemma & your angst. Truth is we have been harmed in ways big & small that add up to problems.

  I woke up rather late in life but my most precious possession in all of this FREEDOM ! So whether we are young or old, while there is still life in us .....life is good.

  Yes we have been robbed & if we are being shunned & lost our families, we have been beat-up and left for dead!

  But still life insists that we go on. We are not rushed by "Armageddon is coming" so take your time Yinz...all anyone can do is live one minute at a time. Live in the moment .... do not worry about "what you will be when you're big" .... if you know what I mean. All those minutes add up to a life of your creation. Love your family passionately ... exercise those feelings that you never developed. We basically were turned into zombies!

  I worked with a woman whose brother was stabbed in his upper thigh. He lost so much blood so fast that he died in the ambulance. He was not a jw, but I tell this because watchtower gives the impression that this 'blood thing' isn't too serious.......you can always just get blood substitutes!

  That is so misleading, when you need blood ...you need blood. There is no time to fool around.

  In 1976 a jw friend of mine died, he had leukemia and would not take blood. He struggled on towards the glorious 1975 and made it! But a1975 fiasco happened instead. He left 3 little kids.

  seems there are many religions who do not tolerate other groups.

  this statement "islam is a religion of war, not a religion of peace" reminded me of what was said at a watchtower convention in 2013 ....using a chilling example of how they condone dis fellowshipping & the soul killing practice of shunning!

  Seems there are many religions who do not tolerate other groups.   Just makes me shudder! Two religions who are waiting & longing for god to destroy at least 8 billion people. One religion is giving god a hand and horrifically beginning the raping & killing of all the unbelievers right now.

  The other religion, who also believe they are the only right & true religion, just mouth their desires to do away with apostates but feel they better hold back from physically killing their ex brothers & sisters....and only kill them spiritually or metaphorically right now, by shunning them to death! So much more civilized ...don't you think ?

  Well hello there Thank You..... you are right with what you say. You are a No No, In her mind you are a waste of time (unless she can convert you) because when Armageddon starts you will be killed...just like everybody else who is not a jw! Her head is messed up for sure. I know ...I was there too. Feels great to be free of it all.

  Do yourself a favour & find a mate who is not in a cult!
