FINALLY! Can you prove God exists? If you can I won't ask again!
by punkofnice ini have seen debates and shizzle about god or not god etc etc.. i was even confronted by an aggressive and trheatening muslim in the street, who was angry that i wanted proof that god existed.
he ranted on a load of old b0110cks about 'hell' and stuff.
finally he yelled at me: 'do you want god to write your name in the sky?

psacremnto: Belief in God requires faith, period.
Which is why these kind of discussions can not proceed unencumbered without breaking off into sub-topics. No one can refute a faith in an invisible entity whether it be some supreme indifferent god or an invisible teddy bear. If a person has faith, there is no arguing against that. The evidence that is presented in support of this entity, however, is an entirely different matter.
But it's still interesting to see the back and forth nonetheless.

if god exists, wouldnt it make more sense for him to show himself today - now that we are a more enlightened people?

Why don't people stop themselves from raping people? Why don't you stop them?
Because we don't have superpowers like this god of yours.

If any god(s) exist and created our reality, how can it just sit idly by and let any kind of suffering continue unabated? Even in a supposed imperfect state, people with a modicum of decency and compassion can be moved to action when there is suffering.

If there is a creator, will an expanding universe ever become bigger than he?
by prologos inthe bible has expressions like: "--god walked in the garden at the breezy part of the day--" .
but more realisticly, speaking in today's lingo:.
if, as accepted by consensus, the universe was "smaller" in the past, expanding out of a zero size singularity, it was "smaller" than the "creator"* at that point in time.

Is this the sort of question like how many chocolate chips can you stuff in a chocolate chip cookie before it no longer exists as a chocolate chip cookie?

Should We Worship Jesus?
by Perry inthere is one lord, one faith, one baptism.. jehovah and jesus are also both spoken of as savior.
this is true because even though there are two personalities, and jesus also possesses a human body, they both also share the same substance or essence of god.
this is similar to my son who shares 50% of my essence in dna.

Science is not my subject, however, when one reads the exciting discoveries in science, it all seems to go back to that the GLUE of the universe is Gods eternal Spirit
Then you don't understand the science (methodology, research parameters etc.) behind all of those exciting discoveries and to use science to bolster your view of some supreme being is quite beguiling.

If you believe you are Christ, then you are the Christ. If you believe Christ talks to you, then Christ talks to you. Apparently, as to the latter statement, we can't challenge that.
