Sadly, she believes she is showing the ultimate love by trying to save your life even when you don't appreciate it.
She can't fathom why you don't trust her organizational savior and she won't listen when you try to tell her.
my sister sent me this text a few minutes ago.
what does she know about my relationship with jehovah?
it was followed up by a bunch of links to jw org problem is dialog is not possible her side is the only one to be heard.

Depends on what you want to convey to her and on whether you want to stop hearing from her.
Your options would seem to be to keep hearing from her by following cyberjesus' advice (a friendly family letter that stresses the here and now and doesn't mention religion at all)...
... or to stop the communication by telling her what you've told us, that you are annoyed because she feels free to comment on your relationship with Jehovah any time she sees fit but won't even listen if you try to point out inconsistencies from the Watchtower's own publications.
If you do want to cut off communications you might also ask her if she wrote that letter on her own initiative or on organizational instructions. For example, how much time is she reporting for having written it?
i was searching for something on the wt online library, and was struck by all the requirements a jw has in order to be "saved".. want to see a partial list?
all these found by searching for "salvation depends" on wol.
just do all 26 things, and you too can be saved!.
“Your attitude toward the wheatlike anointed ‘brothers’ of Christ and the treatment you accord them will be the determining factor as to whether you go into “everlasting cutting-off” or receive ‘everlasting life.’” (WT, 8/1/81, p. 26)
“Just
as the anointed ‘branches’ of the ‘true vine’ must remain in union with Christ,
the ‘other sheep’ must remain in close union with ‘the faithful and discreet
slave,’ Christ’s anointed ‘brothers.’ Only thus can they hope to ‘inherit the
Kingdom prepared for them from the founding of the world.’” (WT, 8/15/83, p. 23)
some light entertainment ... there are apparently 39 beatles songs hidden in the picture, but depending on how to interpret some of them you may come up with more.. please post one each, to give everyone a go, and describe where the song is in the picture (so it's not just coming up with a list of beatles songs).
also, check for existing answers - i'll post summaries to show the ones already identified.. .

just received this note out of the blue from a pimi jw.
how would you respond?.
hi vander,.
I love 1234's answer!
If you want to give a serious reply, you might say, "That list probably describes all of human history. Maybe the point was simply to remind us to look forward to something better, not to get us speculating about dates. So far, everyone's predictions of the end have been wrong, including those of the Watchtower."

hi vander,.
I might reply, "What are you going to tell me when this virus runs its course and the end hasn't come?"
Or perhaps, "What are you talking about? The end came in 1975 just as Brother Fred Franz told us it would."
for you poor saps unfortunate enough to have missed yesterday's zoom watchtower study, i thought i'd prepare a little summary for you.. in fact, to keep things really short, i'll just highlight the outstanding verbs from the article.. paragraph 2: do not view.
paragraph 4: think seriously about the warning.....partake unworthily.
paragraph 5: do not feel...does not give....do not feel....would never tell.
"We want everyone to come to the meal we have prepared, but DON'T eat or drink anything when you get there."
If this makes sense to you, you might just be in a cult...
do you have any evidence that the gb had bad intent?
as opposed to blind faith/cognitive dissonance and honest mistakes.. i'm inclined to think they have the best of intentions and are just wrong (primarily because the bible is wrong), but i'm willing to consider the evidence otherwise..
What about the overlapping generations nonsense?
Do you think the GB themselves believe this is really what Jesus was talking about?
If not, instead of honestly admitting that the critical 1914 teaching is wrong, they're keeping the whole false system going by obfuscation.
Sounds like "bad intent" to me unless convincing oneself that the ends justify the means is "good intent."
just received a text yesterday...lovebombing to return with so called proof of the gt starting...scaremongering at its peak!.
"hey.
missing you at the meetings.
Nothing like a major crisis to scare people back in line...
please share any other yes/no questions that might fit with the following 10. also feel free to critique the 10 listed.. testing for transparency.
there are some facts that jehovah's witnesses are reticent to divulge to new prospects.
you may want to find out very early in your discussions if the witnesses you are studying with are open and truthful about their organization's doctrine and practices by asking them a series of sensitive (potentially embarrassing) questions about their personal beliefs.
How do you know that what you are being taught as truth today won't be dismissed as "old light" next month?
Does that uncertainty trouble you at all?
