The Bible says very little about Armageddon compared to the Watchtower.
The WT mentions it constantly to keep JWs in fear and in line.
can i ask please especially for all who are pomo?.
we've taken a decision similar to revelation 18:4 to get out of the watchtower and not share in its sins.. how many of you still believe that god will one day terminate the world's many systems by means of an armageddon?.

set up 2 sisters 70 and 21 year old.
standing on a dead street next to the cemetery.
buzzer goes off liar.
I'm surprised they talk with anyone at the carts other than to smile, offer them free literature, and direct them to jw dot org.
what do you guys think of the evangelicals theory about babylon the great and the last pope...just starting this big book out of curiosity...like 500 pages...it seems there is a lot of different thinking from the borg.
Most of the time, the WT acts as if it's the only religious organization that pays any attention to Bible prophecy.
When it does mention other views, it chides Christendom for its errors, ignoring the fact that (so far as I know) the WT itself has promoted more failed dates that any other person or organization within the same time frame.
Never mind what we said yesterday. We have new light for you today.
Meanwhile, the GB continues to see itself as the focal point of history and interprets everything in terms of themselves. No wonder they can't get anything right.
so, we had this meeting with 3 elders ( larry, moe and curly) my uncle who is the lawyer sat in the room and stayed quiet, and fact for 40 minutes we let them talk.
we would just sit there.
they went into along winded monolog about how the world is in bad shape and getting worst.
I think Uncle was showing the elders the sort of things they would face in court if they mess with Uncle's JW family members.
for the record, 'colder pizza' is the fifth youtuber to read this incredible letter.. jws hate this letter because it accurately expresses current watch tower teachings which they have embraced as "the truth" in language commonly used by jws in private conversation but would never express so candidly to non-jws.. most people have known at least one jw at some point in their life, but nobody knows what jws actually believe; therefore, they view jws as basically a harmless religion.
this letter is designed to correct that common misapprehension.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d7099bfvhvs&t=378s.
Remember when all of that seemed normal?
the watchtower—study edition | november 2022. study article 48. keep your senses when your loyalty is tested.
14 vlado, a 73-year-old elder in slovenia, struggled when his congregation merged with another congregation and the kingdom hall that he attended was closed.
he says: “i did not understand why such a beautiful kingdom hall would be closed.
Blind faith in the GB is praised and proclaimed as a great example...
the sheeple have always been indoctrinated to think of themselves as witnesses for jehovah.. but the 8m followers of the jw governing body are now told a biblical truth - that they are witnesses for jesus!.

17 = "one of the primary reasons why satan wages war against god’s people is that they “have the work of bearing witness concerning jesus.” (rev.
Their "witness" is that Jesus is an archangel who picked them to run everything for him.
thesis: when someone who is given a responsibility mistakes that responsibility for authority, bullying is very likely to occur.. jesus spoke an illustration recorded at matthew 24: 45-51 which well illustrates this thesis.. jesus asked, “who really is the faithful and discreet slave whom his master appointed over all his domestics, to give them their food at the proper time?
happy is that slave if his master on arriving finds him doing so.
truly i say to you, he will appoint him over all his belongings.
The Pharisees added laws upon laws.
Can we think of anyone who does this today?
how many of you would have spent the hours "pioneering" if it weren't for the pats on the back and being looked up to as someone special in the congregation?
i will admit that back in late 1970's i attempted to aux pioneer during a campaign because it was promoted and seemed the right thing to do,but i didn't get the hours and it was stressful trying to...and i didn't feel like a cheerful giver.
i never attempted it again.
CM's experience illustrates that the WT religion is driven by guilt trips and judgmentalism rather than by love and encouragement.
yes, that is an actual question in the awake magazine.
jw kids lives are already miserable enough trying to obey all the ignorant rules of the wt.. no sports, no school dance, no holidays.... just field service.
as if that isn't enough.... let's take away their puppy dogs too!.
"I'll get you, my pretty, and your little dog too!"
