  "Field Service Groups" are more important now than ever before?

  the scare bells are ringing again in the congregations.

  this past week, the field service group leader/commander/overlord/whatever made a pretty lengthy announcement that, going forward, the field service groups are going to be of the utmost importance as we wind down towards the end here.

  while no indication on when this end might actually be, it was hinted that we might not always have access to the congregation proper and that the few families that are part of the fsg would have to become close knit that they might depend on one another when things get ugly.. i haven't read everything that has passed through the wbts' sphincter lately, but did i miss something?

  I don't understand life or the universe

  i'm 75 years old and am confused about life and god.

  all explainations seem made up by some religious person or some written book that doesn't make any sense to me.

  why doesn't a god just let us know that he exist in some way that all people could understand.

  I think most of these comments our excelent. I think we are all part of god, conciouseness, dynamic energy, and whatever one chooses to call it we and this planet and univers are part of the same souce and we spent too much time looking for whatever for answers whem we should be looking in what some would think is the most ulikly place right under our nose. Within ourselves, we are life or at the least a part of it so live it and dont wast it, because the form part that we can see and feel does not last forever that is why all we do good or bad has a collective impact on all life or the one life. Therefore let us spread the love agaist such a thing there is no Law. this is the way we will first have peace within then it will be expressed on the outside.

  Dreamed my JW Daughter Shunned me in the Grocery Store and..........

  then i woke up and realized it's a scenario that's happening anyway in my life as she's shunning me in reality.

  this is my older daughter ( 23 ) who i was really close to when she was a teenager.

  but since my fade of 7 years - she and her younger sister have virtually totally shunned me .

  Video and pictures just coming in from the world wide protest!

  it was thrilling to participate in the world wide protest, jan, 21-23 2011 exposing the watchtower organization for their policies on deliberately breaking up up families.

  we thank all those involved this past weekend for their passion and commitment to help free those trapped in falsehood.

  i am aware that many on this forum do not believe in protesting against the watchtower society,and i respect their position.

  it almost sounds like were witnessing like the jws except from door to door. cause thats still best way unless we get better at using the tecnoligy the society doesnt and do it before the change their mind.

  we've discussed a few potential reasons why the wt is promoting april 2011 as a month of special activity.

  reasons include manipulating statistics, and trying to provide some kind of spark to increasingly apathetic and discouraged congregations.

  i'm sure there are others i'm missing too, feel free to include those.

  I remember the letter but i do believe it really at least in my congregation no big deal with the cut of the book study that made a big differece in the work load and brothers neede. In fact i felt board as an elder. Yes its true there probabley are problems in other congragations but until a few that are leaders are willing to do more wt will or may even have a near death experiece unless we do more than, enen though most believe there doing what they can. Why is it the org finds a way to convice one to extend oneself and do things he would never do. Was it really just love of god or jw/peer pressure?

  Talking from emotions and feelings can be dangerouse sometimes its ok in a love situation but at this point u must speak from the heart and not your emotions or strong feelings cause as u can tell although u both like each other its hard to tell
