  well, it's that time of year again.

  the memorial season is upon us and jws the world over are getting ready for the celebration which this year falls on 17 april.

  for the first time since 1975, yours truly will not attend and i couldn't be happier.

  jesus said keep doing this in memory of me what bothers me about the memorial is that i now think i should be partaking of the emblems like all the early christians used to do why only a small group something always seemed to me not right about the witness celebration and ive felt this way my whole life

  most people here have left the social scene of being a witness association with friends and family and when they leave that a gigantic hole in their lives occurs when with nothing to fill it and then they post here because they are now lost and empty with nothing to fill their timewith except blaming the witnesses for their mess they are now in

  This made me so sad my father is giving public talks and hes in his 80s and hes almost deaf and sometimes he used to conduct the watchtower study and he couldnt remember peoples names or hear their comments and i remember the congregation laughing at him

  we had a brother who was a prison gaurd at jail called the don jail here in toronto he told me he was patrolling the prison and heard someone singing we are jehovahs witnesses at the top of their voices the man singing was a man named dale oswald who was a pedophile who had mental health issues who associated with our congregation

  a few years ago at our circuit assembly they gave a experience of a sister who was in our circuit who began to learn to walk with god it mentioned in the experience that she had been a cocaine addict a alcoholic had attemted suicide twice by slitting her wrists and was a prostitute at the age of 14 had achild out of wedlock and then came to the truth but at a moment of weakness had succumed again to sexual immorality and had felt this time disgusted with herself i used to go out with this sister who had been in the truth for only 4 years who had a 4 year old daughter and over the cource of our dating revealed to me that she had tried to kill herself twice was addicted to cocaine and alcohol and we ended up having sex and after it was over ran and took a shower and started crying uncontrolled and immedietly called the elders im sitting there at the assembly blown away because i didnt know she had been a prostitute .

  i forgot to mention that in the assembly experience they said she had 2 abortions she also mentioned that to me that was the giveaway in the assembly and i knew it was her

  absolutely true a circuit overseer just quit the circuit work his name is steve ward and he moved to peterborough ontario and bought a house i asked what was he was doing for work and they said he opened a window cleaning business
