  Went to the DC today...

  i caught the entire session today, and strangely, it was the first time i was able to stay completely alert for an entire dc program.

  i'm guessing the reason for that is that i was looking at the program with a critical eye for the first time in my life and was not being hypnotised by mind-numbing repitition (see steve hassen's combatting cult mind control).

  the program wasn't that bad.

  since my exodus is yet incomplete.....i was there.

  and it was indeed awful.

  according to the talk.....the iron and clay feet of the immense image is the anglo-american world power.

  my brotherinlaw a former bethelite just partook of the emblems for the first time this year and yes he does have a history of depression and mental health problems and is on medication so i believe that statement by the watchtower is correct

  ok, so the witnesses will tell you until they are blue in the face, what they hold is the truth, and that jesus has returned already!

  (supposedly in 1914, due to some bizarre calculation of theirs).

  but didn't jesus say on many occasions, (several times in chapter 24 matt) that many will come about and say there is the christ!

  Recent activities at the laundermat and Payless shoe store

  ok last time i went to the laudermat all i found was a trifold tract from the jw's.

  they gave me so much room to write ( why do they do that?

  ) i wrote on there "when will you jw's stop leaving mags and tracts at this laundermat"...lol i wonder what will be there next week.. my friends works part time at payless shoe store.

  my old congregation sisters had a laundermat route only they could do our congregation had the highest magazine total in the circuit i was so proud of being a member of that hall the congregation i attended in downtown toronto had 52 regular pioneers one month we had 192 bible studies the most in canada i truly have been blessed to be a part of those 2 congregations not

  i thought this was rather amusing, maybe in my own mind.

  i was just getting ready to leave my house with my brothers and a jw walks up to my door.

  this was 7 o clock on a sunday mind you.

  despite the fact that i officially left the jws last october i still had a big issue to deal with.

  Hello Everyone! Heres my story!

  i'm new here, and although i have been a lurker for several months now, its nice to finally dive in and join you all.

  i hope that i find some friends as thats what i'm really looking for, i've seen enough proof that theres real love outside of this religious prison that i've biult for myself over the years, but i would like to feel it firsthand.

  it's been a little hard to post anything since it's not easy being around in websites like these when you're still in and theres other jw's around sticking their noses everywhere, but now that i've found the time, i would like to share a bit about my story.... this is an email i sent paul grundy, (creator of jwfacts.com) and it basically sums up the story of my life... so i thought it would be good if you all had a read as well.
