  Does Jehovah Answer Prayers?

  people here have a fundamentally different opinion of what identifies a religion as true or false.

  most people leave christendom's churches because their prayers go unanswered and there's no evidence that god intervenes in their personal lives.

  something that's never discussed here.

  i feel confused, empty, alone, sad, sensitive, hurt and so on.

  more and more it seems.... will i ever find my place, my home and be content and happy?

  Please write your story. I have read much of what you have written over the years in the "Best of" series, as well as clicking your name and reading more. I have done this with a number of people, and it is one of the things that make this board meaningful to me. Much of what you have written in the past has cause me to think more deeply about a subject that I hadn't previously seriously considered. I do love the way you write, and it has an impact on me whether I agree with everything or not. At least, it makes me think.

  Reading each others stories are what makes this board feel real. You have a great deal yet to contribute. I would think it is meaningful for you to be here, helping us. Otherwise, after more than thirty years, why would you bother?

  hall morgage paid Elders please comment

  elders please comment, when our hall was paid for and its a double hall the brothers at first wanted to wait a few months to inform the cong.

  thats wrong since we paid for it and should know all of the finacials.

  also the publisher rate was lower very little so that we contiue as if we have a morgage.

  the purpose of study, usually encouraged as personal, not bible study is supposedly to strengthen your faith and keep your thinking in line with juhovaaahs organization.

  as most of you know, my husband and i da's ourselves almost 8 months ago.

  the communication with my family stayed pretty normal.

  they would call once in a while and text me.

  I wonder if this has anything to do with either the elders school, which I hear the Co's have really been beating up the elders, or if the Feb 15th Watchtower that had some remarks about treating disfellowshipped ones is playing any part. It seems to be a change from what it was just a short time ago, so I just wonder. I am so sorry about what they are doing to you....

  it's an unbiblical roman catholic teaching by which "you are looked upon with the blackest contempt... being cursed and damned with the devil and his angels.".

  if you are using Internet Explorer then put the mouse pointer over the awake magazine.

  Then right click.

  Then select "save picture as"

  and save the picture.

  Ding, I would love to be able to have this on my computer, but I don't know how, and I tried to file save, and it doesn't seem to work. Can you tell me how? I would love to have this. Can you post it by copy and past and then I can copy and paste.
