  In your hall, how many converted to a JW from door to door in the last 10 years?

  in mine that would be a big fat zero.. there have been a handful of teenage baptisms of jw children.. one that really was a foreign language group transfer.. but in the last ten years - there has not been one single convert from the d2d ministry.. btw - my congregation has had over 10 pioneers (real ones that actually do d2d, including elders) for the last decade.. not one.

  10 x 70 hours a month x 120 months = 84,000 hours ... results = 0.. also most of our pioneers are pretty good at the door - some half way decent teachers.

  one is sub co and another often is called to teach ... wait for it ... pioneer school!!!.

  In my congregation, In ten years, only one woman was baptised after a study that she begun thanks to D2D.

  (Its a Bethel Congo, think about it!)

  Voting a conscience matter??

  happy new year one and all!,.

  the local elders sent a letter home with my hubby, pretty much stating that after "many" attempts to visit and speak with me, this letter is once again asking to meet because it came to their attention that i voted in the last pres.

  A short reply from me,

  Although he didnt used the inside language and loaded language like, the truth, the congregation, or anything like that, it doesnt automaticly mean that his story is fishy. Me, for example, refuse to use these loaded language words any longer, although I was a JW I dont use these words and even if I talk to JWs I ask them if they still visit their Church, and how it is within their Religion.

  Loaded language is powerfull, unlearn it...

  Just my opinion.

  Are many couples having babies in order to be less zealous?

  with some, you hear them say they don't want to raise children in this system... until they have children all of a sudden.. i know of many couples who are not only on their first child but multiple ones.

  or if they are newlywed, they soon.

  have their first child.

  Not having kids is something I find to be Unnatural if you decline having them because of some ''religious'' reason.

  Sticky Situation - What to do?

  i have posted about my experience with the cult....so now i find myself in a difficult position.

  i have left it alone for many years but i wonder what you guys think.. i faded away from the cult and stopped going for quite a while.

  my older sister took it upon herself to meet with my family and discuss all my sins and actions (they were active).

  What % of current JWs sincerely believe Armageddon will come within the next 30 years?

  just to give you a little background about myself, i was a born-in, i'm in my late 20's now, i faded away a few years ago after researching the history of the wtbs on the internet.

  my fade was aided by moving away with my job(i definately feel lucky about that).

  eventually, i had discussions with a couple of my closer jw friends about why i no longer believed in the wtbs.

  They all do, its always, within the next 5 years, and those 5 years will move forward as they age... I was like them, in 2001, 911 I though armageddon would be 2 years away at most. Now I would say It would be 500000 Years away at most, when the sun stops burning.

  i see people saying this online.

  my parents made us tell people tha we got gifts throughout the year and that we probably got more presents than kids get on birthdays and christmas.

  however, it was a complete lie.

  Yes they did, and I hated it. It was unfair, everyboddy got present, but not we Dubs. The so called frustration agression theory also kicked in with me. I was mister big time bullying on schools and College. People really though I was an ass, and they still do.

  Then my parents where disaproving my behaviour, and said you shouldnt bully, but children are nothing mure then the true mirrors of society and their parents. Children that get physicly, or emotionally bullied by parents, goverment, or the schooling system will bully others to.

  The WTS is one big Bullying Organisation.

  my 2 freinds that were still in were groaped by her and both bedded her aswell!

  my brother who is now out and df told me she loved a good roasting.

  My favorite meeting?

  I always loved the CA. Alot of young girls we're there waiting to get a ''decent'' brother. But the best meetings we're the meetings just before I quit, the meetings were I was laughing my ass off inside, because of the bulls*t the guy on the podium was talking.

  current JW tagged in pictures in Xmas and Birthday parties on FB

  had to laugh when i saw this.. a current jw who i know on fb was tagged in photos showing him at a christmas party a few days ago.

  within minutes of them landing he removed the tags because obviously these would have been seen by other jw's on his page.. when i asked him why he'd removed them he said: "i was off work sick and i didn't want my colleagues seeing me on the razzle".

  Whahaha! Great story. Ive also found some ''respected'' JWs from the local congregations here, that are visiting Q Dance, and other Hardstyle Parties, that are all, but approved for JWs.

  Well, its hypocrit. But let the little JW also have some fun, please!? Hahah!
