Does it not dawn on the cart witnesses?

i sat in town recently, right in the window of a nice wee pub.

within minutes i realised that i had a perfect view of a jw cart and the two ridiculously dressed jw's (they have absolutely no individuality at all.

what's more, they all look like they're going to a funeral).

Yes is one of the biggest time wasters. I have seen even KH having a table or cart outside. No one ever comes up gets magazine. I have an experienced of a guy who got a magazine in one the carts or tables. The publishers filled out a return visit form for got the actual name of it. My friend asked me to go with him to visit this man. When we got to the door and identify who we where he said " I was just trying to be nice I didn't think you would actually visit me". I wanted to laugh and told my partner we should send this experience to the branch.

Yes some think angels are directing this work. But I think Angels rather kill people one angel killed over 185,000 Assyrians in one night. Last year baptizim was just over 165,000 in one whole year. Angels love killing people not saving.

a friend of mine texted me and one of the things she said was that they were getting a lot of great responses with the campaign because they are showing the video.

let's set aside our differences for the moment and appreciate this excellent documentary cedars put together that should prove to be an invaluable tool in helping to expose the child abuse issues in the organization.. i was humbled to be able to help with this project on such an important subject, though my part in it was insignificant..

jehovah's witnesses now owns a major apartment complex in the town of fishkill.. tenants say they've been told their leases will not be renewed.. the sale of the 250-unit rivercrest luxury apartments closed dec. 3, the deed on file at the dutchess county clerk's office shows.

while sale price is not stated, the transfer tax indicates a transaction for $57 million.. rivercrest is a modern development west of route 9d just north of beacon and was a project of avr realty, which also developed other housing and commercial spaces in that area as well as projects in eight states.. the sale deed is between rivercrest development llc, based in yonkers, and watchtower bible and tract society of new york, inc. as the buyer.

I have some old timer friend who also got sent to that complex. He was at Patterson for many years. Everyone who is over 70 they gave them the option to move there. Some old timers did not want to go as is a retirement complex

was this one of those jw urban legends at every hall?.

when i was 7 years old and began attending meetings, one of the first things i heard people say was "don't challenge satan!",.

i thought, 'what would happen if i challenged satan?

I'm surprised you are still alive I remember hearing an experience from a talk that a teenager was running inside a gym and he challenged satan and he died.

Assemblies - Before and After Waking Up

happy friday to all!.

i haven't been to a meeting for maybe 10 years.

i only know what's happening nowadays from the experiences i read here or the internet in general.. anyway, on to the topic: i started attending meetings at the age of 7. as a kid, the only thing i looked forward to at the assemblies (circuit/district) was walking around veteran's stadium (philadelphia district convention) during intermission, hanging with friends, looking at girls (as i got a little older) and trying to have enough tickets to get pizza!.

I remember going to Dodgers stadium in the late 80's. I imagine that Shasta went out of business after the Jw stop buying so much soda. I enjoyed the pudding and Danish.

Last Day of Chemo

today is the end of my son's 3 -1/2 year treatment for leukemia.

we had a small party at the hospital with nursing staff and a few friends.

it has been a great day with the exception of getting walking pnemonia from his sister.

So I had a conversation with an older brother...

recently, i was speaking with an older brother who is well into his 80's and is a widower.

he explained to me that it is tough getting old and that "nothing works right anymore".

he told me that he was able to get through his 70's with few problems.

I have had the same conversation with a old C.O. His wife had died he was in bad health no retirement income no kids to visit him no gran kids to play with. He basically told me to start saving for the future and have a family. Broken promises from a organization that milks you to death.
