  Donations and the lottery

  i wonder what would happen in the following 2 cases if someone won some money by gambling.

  1/ someone made a sizeable donation to the society and then a week later wrote to them and told them it was winnings from gambling.

  2/ made a donation and included with it a note saying it was winnings from gambling.

  I think they would

  a) Keep the money, and

  b) Disfellowship the donor!

  I would so totally sue them if they did that.

  I went to the assembly today, fun!

  ok, mike and i went to the circuit assembly today at the mca at the university of maine (where i go to school).

  we made it through the first half and it went faster than i thought.. .

  this is me and my friend jenn (another ex-jw) the night before the assembly at 10:30pm getting drunk before heading out to the bar where we got really drunk and danced and had a great time.

  JW article in small town paper

  our small town (2,500) weekly newspaper has an small article tucked on the bottom of the back page.

  it shares with everyone that the jw's are presenting a series of more than 200 conventions across the us centering on the theme "walk with god".

  people of all faiths are invited to 2 of the 3 day events.

  I'm a' headin' to Dallas...

  ...around august 6 or 7th.

  my youngest son's 2nd birthday is on the 8th and i'm taking him to a wiggles concert.. i've never been to any kind of concert (you know why) in my entire life and i feel so nervous wandering around dallas alone with my son (that last sentence did not make any sense at all).

  i do have a friend that lives in irving, but the genius got himself deployed to afganistan and will be out of town that month.

  my youngest son's 2nd birthday is on the 8th and i'm taking him to a wiggles concert.. i've never been to any kind of concert (you know why) in my entire life and i feel so nervous wandering around dallas alone with my son (that last sentence did not make any sense at all).

  i do have a friend that lives in irving, but the genius got himself deployed to afganistan and will be out of town that month.

  I do have a friend that lives in Irving, but the genius got himself deployed to Afganistan and will be out of town that month. Well, he won't be overseas then, but in-transit at Ft. Hood. He said he would think about popping back into Irving for that weekend.

  Is anyone else going to the Wiggles concert on the 8th??
