  Do the elders have "clear direction" that it's ok to use an ipad at meetings?

  i read this post more than a year ago: http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/jw/friends/212313/1/watchtower-publications-for-ipad.

  since i saw it, i've been waiting for the first brother or sister to show up at the hall with an ipad to see what happens.

  a little here and there at the conventions and assemblies.

  Stay At Home Moms/Dads

  i have a 3 and 1 year old.

  hubby is a stay at home dad and i take care of the bills.

  i have to, cause instead of working on his career when he was younger, he decided to pioneer- that is something that now i have to pay the price for which really sucks.. i feel that since i pay the bills, it's his job to cook and do all of the cleaning.

  A similar situation that really gets my back up - families on benefits (that shouldn’t be)!

  If you are in the US I guess you call it welfare. Look, I have nothing against individuals or families that try their best but still require assistance. But, when husband and wife both work part time (or just the husband works part time) and pioneer, knowing that benefits will fill the gap it’s just plain wrong. What makes it worse is when they comment – put down those that work hard so as to support themselves.

  In a judicial hearing does the accused have the right to face his accusers?

  JUDICIAL HEARING:

  “If the accused contends that he is innocent, the witness to the wrongdoing should be presented and their testimony should be given in the presence of the accused “

  APPEAL HEARING:

  “If the accused continues to contend that he is innocent, the witnesses should again give their testimony in his presence, he should be given the opportunity to respond”

  New MS - Looking for the "better" job

  long, long time lurker and great fan of the site - first time poster.

  i am not sure if i am truly a lurker since that implies i am apostate-curious.

  in fact, i have been mentally out completely for a long time, but still physically in like many of you.

  TMS assistant – there is no such job officially? Is it listed anywhere?

  My understanding is that the TMS overseer handled the schedule and conducted the main (larger) school etc. He has no assistant. However, an assistant would be provided should a second school also be running(usually an elder). In that case being the school asst. wouldn't be one of the easier jobs to be handed.
