Front Load Washers. Are they good?

i have been thinking about getting front load washer for my home, but i have not decided which brand, etc to get.

any recommendations?.

I like mine. It uses a lot less water and detergent than the top loaders. I bought a Frigidaire 8 years ago, so it's not as fancy as the newer ones. Mine is a smaller one (3.1 cubic maybe?), so I really need to cram my duvet or large loads in there. They come out clean though.

I'm not sure if this was true in all halls, but at mine they would make a very big deal about how to book a hotel room. (Pretty silly considering it was a DC city.) The elder would also tell people to make sure they call the first hotel on the list, and if that was full, proceed to the next one on the list. You weren't supposed to just pick whichever hotel you wanted on the list.
I was always surprised by the crappy hotel/motel choices they used...mostly older ones I would never stay at. No Best Westerns or other newer hotels were on their "list." They always stressed how much work and months of preparations the brothers at Bethel spent negotiating good rates, and it was important not to get a hotel not on the list so everyone could benefit from their negotiated deals. Talk about guilt mongering.
Too bad the list isn't up for USA and Canada. Time to face the music with the family!

one criticism (god, that word reminds me of the tms) was that my other videos weren't boring enough to match what it's really like as a jw, i think i've captured it a bit better in this video.. also, it's meant to be fairly non offensive because i hope jw's can take a sneaky peak.

Great video! There was a brother in my hall who looked just like the one with the sunglasses on his head...trying to be "cool" in service, lol. I loved the dog barking at the door too. Great job nailing the experience! I can remember being in groups with people I didn't like or know very well as a child...not fun!

cantleave - I couldn't reply with a post on FB, but that overlapping generation made me quit after being born in. Growing up, my family made a huge deal about the generation of 1914. Once I realized they were already dead and now could overlap...that was too over the top even for my brainwashed mind.
